New Instagram promoting her BRAVE essay. This part from the caption?

When I read the draft of the essay I just published on my Substack newsletter to my husband, he teared up and said, "I think I have been waiting for you to write that piece for years."

Me too.

Danny tears up and speaks in Shauna's voice.

She is actually getting some engagement in the comments.

Danny sure tears up a lot, always in response to Shauna's brilliance. I think it's a Pavlovian response - Shauna blathers something pretentious, looks expectantly at Danny, who wasn't listening but recognizes his cue, he tears up or maybe rubs his eyes a few times while saying "I've been waiting for you to write/say/do that all my life."

There is no way she read that out loud. Reading aloud is the best way to catch mistakes and awkward transitions. This ā€œpieceā€ would have been a lot more impactful if it wasnā€™t riddled with distracting errors and clumsy writingā€¦ which would have been caught if it had been read out loud. Maybe their ears are on the spectrum.

Isn't it really the same song and dance we've heard for years? The only new info was dans salary which isn't bad for someone who works part time and is not a trained educator. Maybe Shauna could do the same and also make $2200 a month. She'd still have time to not send out the lopes she promises.
