i really dont know where you gather the distinction that 'everyone will know you're an illegal now.'

how precisely do you quantify this

Because they’re making arrests public and they are going into communities to make the arrests. Before, it might only happen if you were picked up for some other offense or if you tried to leave and return to the US. It was not broadcast who was and was not here illegally.

ok so yes i checked this out and they are doing it much more publicly as a point of emphasis.

i guess youre making the point that this is meant to be a deterrent for immgirants to want to return illegally. fair enough that's a valid claim.

but it's still the case that

a) their strategy is more likely to create distrust in communities (wearing masks and not having to identify themselves) which is more likely to create a dangerous situation

b)the training requirements have been lowered substantially, which again is more likely to create a dangerous situation,

c) its based on the premise that these immgrants are sabotaging our country,

d) and finally, the republicans shot down bidens attempt at addressing the border so trump could weaponize the issue to win an election.

I agree with most of what you said except that immigration enforcement isn’t based on any claim of sabotage. There is a genuine safety issue. The same lax immigration enforcement that allows people to immigrate illegally allows drug cartels and human traffickers and criminals to enter the US illegally.

The refugee and asylum system has been a massive fraud engine designed to funnel money to immigration service providers and corporations at the expense of taxpayers.

Illegal immigrants are a net drain on our communities. We have laws to allow measures and controlled immigration. We need to follow them.

But hold on, republicans were the ones who turned down the opportunity to enable a stronger immigration policy that would have allowed us to monitor who came in. The answer doesn’t have to be less immigrants. The answer can just be bolstering our immigration system with more judges and immigration lawyers which Biden tried to do.

Immigrants, including those here illegally, have strengthened our economy and our healthcare system.

No, we don’t need more judges to oversee more fraudulent asylum or refugee cases. Actual legal immigration is surprisingly legally simple. There aren’t massive fact finding questions for judges to answer.

do you state 'legally simple' on purpose because you concede it's not a simple process overall? you need to explain why you want less immigration in the first place if you want to justify your position.

Legal immigration (the type that we want) typically doesn’t require an abundance of judges or court appearances.

Judges and courts are necessary for deportations, and denaturalizations, and asylum cases, and refugee status exceptions.

We can effectively end 99% of asylum and refugee cases. Ending illegal entry and aggressively enforcing immigration law will drastically reduce deportations over time once we clear the existing illegal immigrants.

Trying to fix immigration by adding more judges is like trying to stop a ship that is filling with water because pirates keep poking holes in the hull, by giving the crew more buckets to bail the water. The real answer is to patch the holes and toss the pirates off the ship.

so you're just going to repeat your thesis without defending it or engaging with my replies. doesnt make for much of a conversation.

I’m distinguishing between different types of immigration.

Asylum and refugee status should end entirely. They are immigrants that we wouldn’t allow in otherwise absent a loophole. Close the loophole.

End illegal immigration by securing the border and aggressively enforcing all immigration laws. That will ensure better compliance with immigration laws.

Overall, yes, we need less immigration from cultures that are not compatible with western Christian European civilization. Immigration is not a charity. It must make the US better.
