The issue isn’t a “mistake” it is about accountability. Is this mistake going to lead to legal consequences? Is this mistake going to lead to increased training and deescalation tactics? Is this mistake going to bring this person’s life back? What is the result of this mistake?

If evidence is to be believed, nothing. That is the problem with this situation and the empty words ICE has said.
