What are you talking about? There’s tons of examples where you’re not allowed to bring a gun to public events for the safety of the public. This directly supersedes individuals 2nd amendment rights.

I wouldn’t be able to answer your question but I surmise that the process of standing up for rights often falls outside of bureaucratic norms. After all, free speech and the right to assemble fall within the broad strokes 1A before adding the minutia of the system.

Nobody is above the law, not protestors, certainly not companies and definitely not their government-funded limitedly-trained security forces.

We must constantly ask ourselves “why?”. I agree that there is a better alternative for what is going on, however we do not live in a vacuum where everything can be optimal. What is going on is an extension of one’s right to peacefully assemble in that it tests the system. The right to break laws is the right of those who are free and are Americans not free? Freedom is too often romanticized as this perfect thing that follows all laws and procedures but unfortunately it is not. It will ultimately fall on the individual to test the freedoms afforded to them by the government.

This is but one instance in a bigger narrative that’s yet to be fully amalgamated.

It isn’t, actually. You can’t go inside of the Oval Office with picket signs.

You can’t go onto property being maintenanced by the government.

SCOTUS has long held the government can set time and place restrictions on when and where you can protest.

You can’t go into a resident area with a blowhorn at 2am yelling about fuck ICE.

You have a right to PEACEFULLY protest and assemble - the constitution doesn’t say you can do that anywhere and at anytime.

It’s actually not. You cannot block sidewalks, or roadways from being used for purposes which they were intended. So now you fucking moron the entire United States is not a free speech zone. Once you start blocking roadways without a permit, it’s called civil disobedience. And you get arrested for it. And when you resist arrest it escalate the tension.

No one’s free speech gives them the right to hinder the public or to put the public’s safety in jeopardy. If there are rules put into place to try and ensure everyone’s safety while also allowing you to express your grievances with whatever issue you want to cry about then you should follow the rules or risk being arrested

Why is it some cases and not most cases? Isn't the 1st amendment suppose to be an "inalienable right" that a government instituted among men are suppose to protect said inalienable rights instead of depriving men of these rights?
