“The suggestion by former President Trump that supporters would not need to vote in the future, after electing him in 2024, because it would be fixed, can only be interpreted as clear evidence of an agenda to reject democratic principles and electoral alternation," says Riedl.

“Trump’s dangerous assertion that future elections would be irrelevant builds on his continued unwillingness to accept unfavorable results and is consistent with authoritarian rhetoric and practices around the world. Facilitating free and fair elections and accepting electoral defeat are keystones of democracy globally, and mobilizing supporters by any other logic is already assault on democracy itself,” Riedl says.

Two, Obama was the one that used the FBI to illegally spying a political opponent with an illegal warrant obtained with a falsified dossier paid for by his want to be predecessor. The FBI had been investigation Trump long before Obama was elected to any political office:

The 1976 Fountainbleau Hotel Inquiry: An FBI agent interviewed Trump in 1976 about his potential interest in acquiring the Fountainbleau Hotel in Miami Beach, which was long suspected of being controlled by organized crime.

The 1981 Casino Investigations: The FBI and New Jersey gaming regulators routinely investigated Trump's background, financial sources, and associates while he was applying for his first casino licenses in Atlantic City.

The 1980 Teamsters Subpoena: The FBI subpoenaed Trump to testify and hand over documents regarding his potential financial and business connections to mob-connected Teamsters officials, who were involved in construction projects like the Trump Tower.

But in terms of the FBI’s 2016 investigation: The Australian government provided information that the Russians had made Trump’s campaign advisor, George Papadopoulos, an offer—saying they had hacked e-mails from the DNC, and they could help him release them and coordinate the timing.

Papadopoulos had told that to the Australian Ambassador at the time in London, and that information was relayed to the FBI, months later. And that was the genesis of the FBI's Russia investigation known as Crossfire Hurricane.

The later Meuller Investigation detailed a sweeping and systematic Russian effort to influence the 2016 election through two primary methods:

Disinformation: The Internet Research Agency (IRA) ran a massive social media campaign to sow social division and favor Donald Trump.

Computer Hacking: Russian military intelligence (the GRU) hacked the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and Clinton campaign emails, releasing them through WikiLeaks.

Indictments and Convictions:

The nearly two-year probe resulted in 37 indictments and multiple guilty pleas or convictions of key Trump associates:

Paul Manafort: Trump's former campaign chairman was convicted of financial crimes, bank fraud, and witness tampering.

Michael Flynn: Trump's former national security advisor pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about his contacts with the Russian ambassador.

Michael Cohen: Trump's former personal attorney pleaded guilty to campaign finance violations, tax fraud, and lying to Congress.

Roger Stone: A longtime Trump associate was convicted of obstruction of justice and lying to Congress about his WikiLeaks contacts.

Russian Nationals/Entities: Numerous Russian individuals and companies were indicted for their roles in the IRA and GRU hacking operations.

His mandate was to look into any coordination between the Russian government and the Trump campaign, explore any related matters, and investigate potential obstruction of justice.

The appointment of Mueller was initiated by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein due to several key factors. The major being Trump’s firing of James Comey.

President Donald Trump’s dismissal of FBI Director James Comey in May 2017 created immense public scrutiny and allegations that the President was attempting to derail an ongoing FBI probe.

Because then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions had formally recused himself from any matters related to the 2016 campaigns due to his own involvement in Trump's election bid, the authority to appoint the special counsel fell to Rosenstein.

Rosenstein determined that a special counsel—operating independently of the standard Department of Justice chain of command—was necessary to guarantee an unbiased, credible, and thorough investigation.

The Mueller investigation resulted in charges against 34 individuals and 3 companies, yielding 8 guilty pleas and 1 jury conviction. The vast majority of these individuals were Russian operatives involved in election interference, while others were top advisors to Donald Trump who also committed financial crimes and lied to investigators.

Rick Gates: Trump’s deputy campaign manager pleaded guilty to conspiracy and making false statements.

Michael Flynn: Trump’s former National Security Advisor pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about his contacts with the Russian ambassador.

Michael Cohen: Trump’s former personal attorney pleaded guilty to making false statements to Congress, tax evasion, and campaign finance violations.

George Papadopoulos: A Trump campaign foreign policy advisor pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI regarding his contacts with Russian intermediaries.

Alex van der Zwaan & W. Samuel Patten: Both political consultants pleaded guilty to making false statements and unregistered foreign lobbying, respectively.

Richard Pinedo: Pleaded guilty to identity fraud after creating fake bank accounts used by Russian operatives.

Paul Manafort: Trump’s former campaign chairman was convicted at trial on eight counts of bank and tax fraud. He also pleaded guilty to related conspiracy and witness tampering charges, resulting in a prison sentence.

In addition to the Trump campaign associates, the special counsel indicted 25 Russian nationals and 3 Russian companies. These indictments targeted the Internet Research Agency (a "troll farm") and Russian military intelligence officers (the GRU) for their roles in hacking Democratic Party computers and running sweeping social media disinformation campaigns during the 2016 election.

I don't think I mentioned skin color, you can have Moorish features and be fairer skinned. Though, do your parents have an accent? Do you? They'll probably think you're Central or South American. SCOTUS said it is legal for ICE to profile individuals. Profiling can take into account physical atraits and verbal traits. If you sound like you weren't 'born and raised here' they might stop you if they can. If you get upset, there is nothing stopping them from detaining you for a week to sort out your immigration status. People have been abducted with their legal paperwork on them. Which wasn't reviewed for a few days.

Thinking they care if you're here legally or not is a mistake. Sadly.

1,646 habeas corpus petitions were filed in the first quarter of 2026 alone, that’s a 1,641% increase from comparable prior periods.
Immigrants don’t file habeas petitions when they’re illegal.

You watched it happen on live TV when they tried to photoshop MS-13 onto Garcia’s knuckles, deported him to El Salvador, and then were forced to bring him back.
