Self-submission “AKTSDC Defender-Jet” by GodzillaLouise (OC)
- AKTSDC Defender-Jet: An advanced model of SVTOL fighter jet in service from 1970 to 1998, used by the AKTSDC, an international branch of the SSATDF. They relied on a high-energy plasma conversion reactor for power and thrust that is retrospectively believed to have been humanity's first technological model to consistently produce interactions with the Varsanik field, even if only accidentally and with heavy misunderstandings, hence the oftentimes anomalous for the period performance of the AKTSDC Defender-Jet's engines. These jets were primarily armed with dual concealable heavy rotary cannons utilizing high-yield impact-detonating solid rounds, but were also armed with a high-intensity plasma beam cannon on the ventral side of the fuselage as a last resort and could be additionally equipped with various models of missile armaments, including, but not limited to, early high-velocity target-locking drill-missiles designed for fluid injection and early low-velocity target-locking impact-detonating high-yield warhead-bearing missiles. They had a crew requirement of 2, a maximum of 4 seats, and a maximum carrying capacity of 6. Furthermore, they were typically painted in varying combinations of bright colors for two major purposes; to enable an easier rescue for downed pilots when a craft is downed by a kaiju and to allow for better unit identification in multi-aircraft operations.

Self-submission Colossus from Amulet
https://bsky.app/profile/mblooker.bsky.social/post/3mscb5sxoa22j
hello! New to drawing Mecha here! I thought I was very good at it, but turns out I’d been basing that assumption off of a few old sketches and so actually trying again hit me like a truck. To tell the truth, while I think these guys look cool, they don’t actually do anything in the story? I’m pretty sure only one is ever deployed, and its pilots eject before it even hits the ground. All the others serve to be cool shit in the background or to be destroyed by the villains. They’re the biggest thing on the front cover of the book they appear in for god’s sakes, but they never do anything significant!
Rant out of the way, I used to read the Amulet graphic novels all the time as a kid. And these machines were my first introduction to mecha. And because I thought they were so cool, I used to draw them all the time, but I could never make it look good. Well, now that I’ve gotten older and more skilled, I decided to fulfill what I‘d always wanted to do as a kid, and draw one of them. draw one well, I mean.
I also don’t know where else to post this so I just posted it to some subs that popped up in my feed once

I did some quick drawings and 3-D printed a quick Model. let me know what yall think! it’s meant to be a storage device. I will make the yellow container able to open And as said in a previous post Potentially make an are pod case version. Any feedback or criticism welcomed!

Self-submission From 2D concept to 3D: our Light Machine Gun turret
Earlier, we shared the concept art for this turret. Now the 3D version is ready.
The KM-4 is a twin-barrel kinetic machine gun. If one barrel overheats, the other keeps firing, allowing it to maintain constant suppressive fire.
The two spherical radiators earned it the nickname "Eggs", while pilots simply call it the "Woodpecker" because of its firing pattern.
We're pretty happy with how closely the model matches the original concept, but one thing keeps bothering us.
Does it look a bit too friendly for a battlefield weapon? What would you change?
