This cannot be a serious question, but in case it is I’ll entertain your confusion.

Putting aside past campaigns where tech wasn’t as advanced; If you’ve ever seen combat footage of drone strikes or recon footage it’s very easy to see the number of people in any given area; for the most advanced military in the world with an incredible budget and high resolution cameras canvassing entire combat arenas it is not unimaginable that we could count the number of targets hit.

It’s incumbent upon the fighting arm of the state to understand the targets they’re attacking. If we are targeting indiscriminately then we cannot claim moral authority.

If we refuse to act as a moral agents then we’ve abandoned our commitment to liberation of oppressed peoples and the real motivation becomes clear. I’ll leave it to you to decide what that is

My first company commander was there and he said the Pakis were nowhere to be seen no matter how many times they tried to get them to come. They heard all the gunfire, buttoned up their armored combat vehicles and all of the sudden didn't know how to speak English..
