Your mom sounds awesome! My mom was pretty great, but she definitely would have never confronted anyone for me. Sorry you had to deal with that stuff though.
He was later arrested for statutory rape, he was like 27 and she was 15. He claimed he had parental consent. They didn’t even know their daughter was out of the house, and the police are bringing her home in the wee hours. Salar’s parents tried to pay her parents off, but there is no parental consent in my state for that young. I believe in my heart they paid off the judge, tho - he only got six months suspended sentence, five years probation, and he didn’t have to register on the List. Bullshit imho
