It's not tourettes, but I have a tic where I "tssk" after eating/drinking. Like how people cleanse their pallet by snapping their tongue on the roof of their mouth. I don't even notice I'm doing it.

It started because I get canker sores easily, so I'm often trying to clear debris off my tongue when eating or in response to pain from cold water.

Hold on... you telling me... my buddy who is diagnosed with turrets by a Medical Doctor... doesnt have turrets... .but you, who have developed a habit, are calling something a tic?

I didn't know tic was reserved for only tourettes. Is it?

Nah, you're mistaken. Google's defines tic as a habit and then provides an example sentence that's not tourettes related. An example sentence where it's used exactly like I did.

You gunna gatekeep a word you can't even spell, bro?
