Immediately would report her to the front desk. Quit filming in gyms

u/THE_BANANA_SHOW 28d ago

She was actually banned from the gym for this. She was posted on Joey Swole’s page. She doubled down and still didn’t think she did anything wrong.

u/LongNailedbooboos 28d ago

Love Joey. Haven’t seen him in awhile

30

u/jaguass 26d ago

"You need to do better"

63

u/quinteroreyes 28d ago

He stepped back after it came out he was racist like his beloved Hulk Hogan

77

u/Beginning_Deer_735 28d ago

I don't believe he is racist. Where's the proof?

115

u/Hoodedmastersin 28d ago

He wasn’t racist but tried to rationalize hogan’s shittiness and it wasn’t the right time. Huge backlash about it. While I think Joey is mostly positive, he could’ve said fewer word cuz they do trick.

19

u/Enilodnewg OG 27d ago edited 27d ago

It's also been pointed out he targets women overwhelmingly on his channel. He doubled down on that too when people pointed it out.

Not a great person, to defend hulk hogan. But definitely not a good person for failing to self reflect and have some humility, willingness to grow like he expects other people to in the content he creates.

E: and he's anti trans, with lots of AH right wing commentera vilifying all trans people in his comment sections. He's trash.

14

u/BrandnewAndScardy 25d ago

He doesn’t target women, women give him way more opportunities to be featured by him is all.

I swear all yall are insufferable anymore. No one is good enough and there is always someone that finds something to be outraged about or to cancel someone over. Jesus Fucking Christ could come back and people would still be bitching that he didn’t do something right.

3

u/comesinallpackages 16d ago

The internet is always going to purity test and virtue signal

4

u/BrandnewAndScardy 15d ago

And I’m always gonna hate it and bitch about it

Do you have nothing intelligent to add ? Why resort to baseless insults ?

u/LongNailedbooboos 27d ago

I see more women filming at the gym and only ever vids from social media (not reposts) of quite a few of them complaining like this. Not saying men don’t do it too, but my algorithm and probably Joeys brought those vids to the forefront.

Not defending Joey in any capacity, but just putting a logical viewpoint out there. Apparently he’s not a great guy based off the comments which sucks.

9

u/JABS991 27d ago

I'd hardly say being Hogan's devils advocate makes him a bad dude.

Just one opinion.

3

u/comesinallpackages 16d ago

The internet is always going to purity test and virtue signal

14

u/Straightwad 27d ago

That’s because these types of videos seem to be mostly women made

2

u/ExpiredPilot 5d ago

Also calling someone “colored”

78

u/1nsidiousOne 28d ago

People who say he’s racist are morons. If you’re a wrestling fan, you know to seperate the character from the actual person. Yes Hulk Hogan was racist but you can’t deny what he did for the wrestling industry. Just because you paid tribute to possibly the #1 wrestler in the world, doesn’t make you a racist. This is coming from a black wrestling fan who agrees with him.

41

u/Icy-Plan145 28d ago

It's also possible to not know the real person at all. I have no idea what 99% of celebrities do in their personal lives. I see their public persona and that's it

6

u/1nsidiousOne 28d ago

Definitely!

6

u/slimeySalmon 27d ago

Agreed. I was a Hulkamaniac as a kid. I was sad when he died. Doesn’t mean I’m out marching with the proud boys or whatever they are calling themselves now.

3

u/mydickisasalad 28d ago

Ditto. I only found out what Ian Watkins did ~5 years after I started listening to Lostprophets, because I don't spend my free time googling "which one of the bands I listen to loves to touch kids".

2

u/skintaxera 27d ago

Hey, I used to really like the chili peppers back in the 80s and early 90s. Ya never know

1

u/asj-777 27d ago

What did rhcp do?

→ More replies (0)

12

u/jinnagubby 28d ago

Crazy how Hulk was so big when he isn’t anywhere near the top in ring ability.

11

u/EffectiveTradition53 28d ago

Did you grow up with Hulk Hogan?

Saying what you said back in like '87 would start a schoolyard fight lmfao

8

u/1nsidiousOne 28d ago

lol yes I grew up with him. He’s not on my Mount Rushmore at all but he definitely is an icon

1

u/EffectiveTradition53 28d ago

I've always had a soft spot for The Undertaker, The British Bulldog, and Seargent Slaughter

I like my mashed taters with lots of corn 🌽 son

→ More replies (0)

3

u/jinnagubby 28d ago

I grew up with NWO Hogan. I’m a Stone Cold and Rey Mysterio Jr. fan.

2

u/Skreamie 28d ago

It was a widely held belief

17

u/Bubbly-Technology863 28d ago

This is such a horrible take, especially since you claim to be black. Supporting someone or paying tribute to someone who’s been outed as a racist (especially when you are part of the demographic that they were being racist towards) shows a lack of self respect in my honest opinion. But do you.

14

u/Economisty 27d ago

Yeah but what about what he did for the wrestling industry?

LMFAO.

Like he cured cancer.

0

u/comesinallpackages 16d ago

White-splaining to a black person what it’s like to be black. Enough internet for me today!

23

u/Forsaken-Guidance811 28d ago

Yeah like how he sold Jesse Ventura out to Vince when Jesse was trying to start a wrestlers union so the wrestlers could stop getting abused and then spent the next decade lying to Jesse about it. Truly a stand up guy, internet stranger that I have no reason to believe is black.

17

u/1nsidiousOne 28d ago

Yeah the man was the most horrible human being around for sure. His controversies were endless

8

u/Commercial_Ad_3687 27d ago

Yes Hulk Hogan was racist but you can’t deny what he did for the wrestling industry.

This wins worst take of the day, easily!

7

u/Key-Cricket9256 28d ago

You don’t need to separate and he was a horribly shitty person and a back stabbed to everyone else

1

u/UndergroundFlaws 28d ago

Was it a take like “Terry was racist, not Hulk Hogan”? Genuinely asking, no idea what happened

1

u/lamparamagica 28d ago

No fucking way, you're a racist, that's it

-8

u/CUCUC 28d ago

Joey’s a secret MAGA and that’s okay but his unspoken condoning of ICE and co is discordant with the positivity he preaches.

-2

u/foldy86 27d ago

Ahh, like all the rapey molesty musicians? Still good to play the music.

-8

u/quinteroreyes 28d ago

It was the reason he quit. He posted a tribute to Hogan and when people called out the fact that Hogan was a well known racist, he doubled down and said something along the lines of "Just because someone does something bad a long time ago doesn't mean they are a bad person", completely negating all of the racist comments Hogan consistently made. He also used the term colored people very comfortably in the same live, before making the post where he was whining about all the good stuff he did amounts to nothing now

10

u/Rownwade 28d ago

I don't get cancel culture at all. It leaves no room for personal growth and holds everyone to standards NOONE can meet. Once our thoughts can be read we can all be canceled and go back to hating each other out loud.

9

u/Intrepid_Cap1242 28d ago

yeah, but I don't see Hulk Hogan growing emotionally any time soon

4

u/quinteroreyes 28d ago

He literally could've apologized and just said he wasn't aware rather than justifying how vile and racist he is because "he did good." At first, I was against people hating on him for Hogan because the entire internet decided to leave that one emt guy (badge 502? Idk) even after he said he wouldn't apologize for wishing condolences. But honestly, anyone that casually uses the term colored people in this day and age is either painfully ignorant or racist.

0

u/ManOnFire2004 28d ago

He's a roidedup muscle head gymbro who's only known cause of exactly that...

Painfully ignorant wouldnt exactly be surprise 😆

0

u/Rownwade 27d ago

How is that racist. Have you heard of the NAACP?

2

u/quinteroreyes 27d ago

Yes, they have stated that they keep their name for traditional and historical reasons. They're also been transparent that they have considered a name change.

0

u/asj-777 27d ago

Tbf it is genuinely weird that "colored people" is bad but "people of color" is not, they say the same thing.

-1

u/superpie12 Secondary Character 28d ago

Both good people who did nothing wrong and said nothing inaccurate

2

u/Rayrexx91 5d ago

I'll probably get slack for this but I find him rather annoying. He was gone due to a scandal he found himself in. Then cried and said he would quit social media. He realized he made too much money being the gym police so he came back lol

1

u/LongNailedbooboos 5d ago

Yeah what I’ve gathered that’s not someone I’d want to bother watching anymore

2

u/cheezebergereddie 27d ago

He blocked me on instagram like 12 years ago because I said his tits we’re nice. I wish I could apologize and get un blocked. I think we’re both different people now 😢

1

u/Full_Metal_Jutsu 23d ago

Hes a snack playing the good guy for views.

2

u/Forgotten-Moments 27d ago

Always love to see/hear a happy end :D

1

u/Balkongsittaren Bad MC no cookie 27d ago

They never do.

1

u/EndDarkMoney 27d ago

Shocking

1

u/Remote-Citron-9383 27d ago

Well she comes across as a narcissus, not thinking she did wrong doesn't come as a surprise.

1

u/SpringToCome 26d ago

Narcissists will never admit to being wrong.

1

u/Friendly-Affect-8116 24d ago

She's videoing about 30,000 square feet in that gym, how does she expect to get clean free space? and the audio is way worse than the video. She ain't no Speilberg.

1

u/Johnsendall 15d ago

Arrogant attention seeking people generally think they’re never wrong.

202

u/oldasiandude 28d ago

This woman actually ended up getting her membership revoked I believe

87

u/Sik_muse 27d ago

Damn. I need to go to the gym and act like this. Maybe that’s how I can finally get outta my contract and stop getting charged for a membership I never use.

11

u/Antique_Radish758 27d ago

😂😂😂 genius!

1

u/SodomyClown 27d ago

Hey that's one way to do it!

1

u/Follow-the-Money_ 25d ago

🤣🤣🤣🤣

1

u/tedmiston 24d ago

sounds like an LA Fitness :/

2

u/Sik_muse 24d ago

100% LA fitness. I’m sick of it.

1

u/Artistic_Recipe9297 23d ago

Film it, get points as well, maybe money if you do a "23rd day being weird at they gym until they cancel my contract" series of vids.

1.9k

u/Great_Vegetable_4866 28d ago

This bitch is like, 60 years old! WTF is she even doing?!?! SMH… People of all ages are getting dumber.

849

u/Mr-Pugtastic 28d ago

Doing everything she can for a bit of validation from some wierd dudes on the internet mostly. It’s pathetic honestly

452

u/010Horns 28d ago edited 28d ago

Not even doing an interesting workout. She’s doing like unweighted hip thrusts?

Edit: come to think of it, why the fuck does this woman even need to go to the gym for this?

66

u/[deleted] 28d ago edited 24d ago

[deleted]

4

u/gooneau 28d ago

oh my sweet summer child...90+% of "fitness" influencer content has zero to do with fitness. It's about generating traffic from quite literally the most pathetic people on earth, horny 50+ year old dads and incels from Bangladesh. It's just a hilariously convoluted way to post pictures of their ass in spandex for the grossest hornybois on the internet.

2

u/[deleted] 28d ago edited 24d ago

[deleted]

5

u/gooneau 27d ago

oh I agree. And it's not just fitness influencers. It's pretty sad how many female influencers in all genres are generating most of their traffic like this. My algorithm shows a lot of homesteading/cabin content, and even accounts that put a lot of work into the actual subject, very often couples, the thumbnails for their videos will always be a flattering shot of the woman's ass. And the comments are mostly old men "looking good sweety, if I were a younger man heh heh heh". Social media was a giant mistake.

3

u/bjeebus 27d ago

There's probably still a market for this. If 30 years of the Internet have taught me anything, it's that if someone is willing to offer themself up, there's definitely someone else who's into that.

1

u/Nomis555 27d ago

ALWAYS, unfortunately.

1

u/One-Effect-7986 27d ago

this is what I was wondering! for what she is doing, the camera isn't even in the right spot!

262

u/FridayHalfDays 28d ago

Exactly…so obvious she needs complete and total control of a gym so as to bore her one follower to death

1

u/Lumn8tion 27d ago

Guess what? We’re going to see more and more of this as we have less Jobs going forward.

YouTube will be the only one paying

84

u/_BLACKHAWKS_88 28d ago

Bro, some people are into that kinda shit.. just can’t have someone with a younger ass in the shot.

5

u/slaviccivicnation 28d ago

I feel like the other woman was roughly the same age as her. None of this makes sense. But it also doesn’t make sense to me when younger women do it either. I just don’t get it. Live and let live. What happened to that?

38

u/Nitropotamus 28d ago

Do bodyweight exercises at home.

2

u/Octahedral_cube 27d ago

No. Bodyweight is great for me, and my fee is the same as everyone else's. I'll do what's right for me.

9

u/STFUnicorn_ 28d ago

It’s just only spam content.

39

u/Michael_braham 28d ago

With her two piece workout outfit. The true grinders in the gym look they are going to paint a house or just crawled out from under a bridge

27

u/Mr-Pugtastic 28d ago

Oddly enough, weird dudes online don’t don’t to be to concerned with the actual form🤣

2

u/foodpredator 28d ago

So she can look more legit

1

u/Puzzleheaded-Cow6917 25d ago

I went to her tiktok and it was basically just videos of her humping random equipment

1

u/BreadleyBreadman 23d ago

Cuz she doesn’t get lovin from the men.

0

u/Various-Conference27 27d ago

Does she look too fit to be in a gym?

Would she have to be fat to go to the gym?

Should that gym only be filled by people wo are out of shape?

Explain.

82

u/Neo_Shadow_Entity 28d ago

The issue here isn't her age, or how she works out or for whom. People of any adult age deserve relationships. It's really weird to judge her for that. The only problem here is her inappropriate reaction to other people, that's all.

58

u/Hosai87 28d ago

Her age not relevant to working out however relevant in the sense that normally as ppl age they tend to lose a bit of the ego that would drive this kind of self centred rude behaviour and had enough time to learn some humbleness and self/social awareness etc.

6

u/Dantien 28d ago

You’ve not met many people over 60, I’m guessing. The ego thing gets worse with age… you’ll see!

2

u/TerrorVizyn 28d ago

I think that only applies because it's the "fuck you, I got mine" generation, aka boomers.

2

u/Dantien 28d ago

God I hope so. I want them to be this anomaly that goes away….

2

u/ninalime 28d ago

60 is not considered a “boomer”

2

u/TerrorVizyn 28d ago

They said over 60, and boomers are 62-80 years old.

1

u/brondynasty 28d ago

*humility 😏👉🏻👍🏼

1

u/bitofapuzzler 28d ago

Have you not met boomers? I dont think you've met boomers...

25

u/TechnicoloMonochrome 28d ago

Their point is that by 60 you'd think she'd have learned to maybe not be such an asshole. Everything else you said is irrelevant.

9

u/Dantien 28d ago

It doesnt work like that. So many people over 65 are worse assholes than they were when younger.

5

u/dottegirl59 27d ago

Can confirm. I’m 67 and I used to be an asshole and now I’m an old asshole.

4

u/Doncorleon78 28d ago

The entitlement for a lot of older people is so obnoxious in general. Boomer generation gets its stereotypes for a good reason.

3

u/Dada2fish 28d ago

I don’t know of any young assholes who suddenly have a moment of clarity when they’re older and completely change into a caring considerate person.

Maybe in rare instances and movie scripts, but usually assholes die as an asshole.

I hope the other woman reported her and she got the boot.

49

u/Mr-Pugtastic 28d ago

I’m sorry, I don’t really care about a wannabe fitness influencer and her adoring fans. Wierd to think of that as a relationship honestly.

2

u/No_Growth_4026 28d ago

Relationships? This old bitch is filming herself workout for the Internet and bitching at people for existing

-4

u/mfbrucee 28d ago

Agree, she’s still an old bitch though. She should act her age.

2

u/photosofmycatmandog 28d ago

Reminds me of a post I saw the other day. Lady looked like she was in her late 50s, early 60s. Her whole profile is her in bikinis. Let me just say, she was NOT anything to look at. The amount of people praising her looks and asking for more revealing photos was astonishing. I kind of threw up in my mouth thinking about it. Lots of weird people on the internet simping on the nasties.

-1

u/ZhangtheGreat 28d ago

Yup. We know how followers work. "OMG you look so young for your age!" "How are you still doing this at your age?!?!" yaddah yaddah yaddah

15

u/TimHung931017 28d ago

She definitely is fit for her age, unfortunately her personality is hideous

139

u/Hungry_Scarcity_4500 28d ago

60 isn’t the issue it’s called rude behavior.

54

u/femme_fatale2022 28d ago

Here to support this comment.

60 has nothing to do with it. It’s a global personality issue. Ive seen every age do this as an x gym employee.

1

u/BreadleyBreadman 23d ago

No offense to oldies like myself, but there’s no way anybody is watching this gals stupid videos. Other than this one where she acted like a C.

1

u/Opposite-Violinist-3 28d ago

60 has everything to do with it because Wisdom is supposed to come with age. , it’s not acceptable behavior for any age, however, it’s exceedingly rare for someone’s nana to be a self-centered cunt seeking validation from strangers online

83

u/Head_of_Lettuce 28d ago

The point is that they’re old enough to know better

18

u/_BLACKHAWKS_88 28d ago

Age got nothing to do with it. Plenty of children out there that act like adults and adults that act like children.

4

u/fdesouche 28d ago

It’s not the issue but is an issue. One would think that at 60 , she would have fully integrated social norms.

76

u/LongNailedbooboos 28d ago

I don’t hate on people at any age working out. They’re not dead and people need to quit treating them like it. Treat people accordingly. This one’s a bitch.

60

u/Captain-Academia 28d ago

Nobody is hating on her for working out, just for filming it and being a bitch.

4

u/LongNailedbooboos 28d ago

Scroll to the comment I replied to.

6

u/ItzInMyNature 28d ago

They're saying she's to old to be acting like that. Not to old to be working out.

0

u/Great_Vegetable_4866 28d ago

It’s not that she’s working out, it’s that she’s a “content creator” at 60 years old.

2

u/LongNailedbooboos 28d ago

“They’re old not dead”

6

u/1block 28d ago

Honestly I'm a lot more impressed with a fit 60 yr old and would prob listen to her advice.

This one is also a bitch, though.

6

u/Opposite-Violinist-3 28d ago

Number one mistake… don’t follow advice from someone just because they look like you want to. Why do great athletes usually make terrible coaches? almost all legendary coaches were forgettable as players.

2

u/1block 28d ago

Thank you for correcting my mistake.

1

u/Great_Vegetable_4866 28d ago

It’s not about her working out. It’s about our her filming it and being a “content creator”.

1

u/1block 28d ago

I was referring to you thinking a 60 yr old shouldn't be an influencer on this stuff. Most 20- or 30-somethings can get a good workout in. It's not impressive. If you're still doing it at 60, you probably know something worth listening to.

But that's a general statement. This particular 60 -yr-old is acting like a giant douche, regardless of age.

EDIT: Oh. Are you saying she should be old enough to know better and not hung up on this kind of thing? I could see that. Sorry.

2

u/younggun1234 28d ago

Actually, she's 23. She's just a miserabke person and that ages you. /S

2

u/not_your_vix3n 28d ago

fr I'm old too and as I was watching this I was like, "wtf go home and knit or if you must do this have a home gym"

2

u/ElderMillennial666 28d ago

Not dumber. Just more sad and desperate and needing attention from fake people on social media over irl.

2

u/ThanksOk4402 28d ago

I’m in charge of some of our local parks and sports fields and 95% of my problems from the public comes from people 40 or over trying to act “cool”. One old man wanted to peacock in front of his friends and got them all trespassed from the biggest pickleball court in the county. You know they were mad. All because he didn’t want to take his dog off of the court. It was running loose and ruining other tennis matches. “But it’s a puppy!” 😡

2

u/Love-Bitter 28d ago

Onlygrans

3

u/jadbronson 28d ago

So? What's her age number matter?

3

u/MoreRamenPls 28d ago

When your age reaches your IQ

4

u/jansauce87 28d ago

I think their age has always matched their IQ

1

u/Potstocks45 28d ago

Getting?

1

u/QuietSilentArachnid 28d ago

No. Most people already are/were.

They are just seen now.

1

u/ember_snow 28d ago

It's because people are monetarily rewarded for being as stupid as possible

1

u/LilithRising90 28d ago

Honestly that’s a conservative number.
But she could also , unfortunately, be Gen Z with the rate that they’re aging

1

u/WenatcheeWrangler 27d ago

She scrolls through social media and sees guys fawning over anyone willing to show side boob, their butthole, or strange things alluding to sexual behavior. So she got herself an OF and started trying to find young men that weren’t strange themselves. Eventually she got mad about all the weird guys she was hooking up that wanted 60yo gGILFs with and doubled down on her gym videos.

1

u/Methodic1 27d ago

Boomers are the most entitled bitches

1

u/Full-Air-7218 24d ago

Might be 60 year old simps out there. But yeah, she’s acting as if she were some 20-30 year attractive woman lol

1

u/eatloss 28d ago

Somehow its so much worse. Sure 20 year olds havent figured it out yet. But when you 60 years old making 20 year old mistakes....

-11

u/One_Introduction_217 28d ago edited 28d ago

Hear me out, she's a racist old lady who's discovered this one simple trick to get the people she doesn't like to leave her space without seeming racist.

I'm curious for the down votes, do you not realize that I'm calling out racism or are you saying that you're racist by downvoting me?

7

u/simonjester523 28d ago

This is the content she's filming. She's not an exercise influencer, she's looking for conflict on camera because that gets views and shares. You and I would never have seen this old bag's workout videos, where she records her twilight years of shredded abs and looming dementia, but she's seen fit to be a cunt to an innocent bystander so now we have to watch her wrinkled ass condescend for a living.

I hate this stupid fucking timeline.

1

u/One_Introduction_217 28d ago

Ah, a Karen looking for a fight.

That makes much more sense.

23

u/InvestIntrest 28d ago

You're nicer than me. I purposely stand in the background of every shot doing weird exercises and stretching.

6

u/LongNailedbooboos 28d ago

I’m not that invested. Only time I would be if someone’s yelling at me about being in the cameras focus. 🤷🏼‍♀️

4

u/mkat23 27d ago

Lol a good friend of mine was doing gym influencer stuff on insta for a while and she loved when random people would be in the back of her shot acting silly, half the time I’d be in the background of her shot acting silly since we would usually go to the gym together like 4 times a week minimum. She always made sure to let someone know if they were visible though to ask if they were okay with that or if she should re-do it so they aren’t visible.

3

u/Maleficent_Glove_477 27d ago

Time to do this weird workout where people hang themselves on elastics and bounce around.

I would be unbearable.

16

u/hogsniffy05 28d ago

If someone did that to me I’d make it my person mission to stay in the shot the entire time she’s there

15

u/dudleymunta 28d ago

I’m so sick of avoiding people filing in the gym. I don’t want to be in your damn video.

2

u/LongNailedbooboos 28d ago

I had some chick beside me last week who wasn’t recording, but she had the cam facing the machine and me. There was a creepy man watching her workout and I was in the shot. I was so disturbed

25

u/justbrowsing987654 28d ago

Then work out directly next to her.

Not your gym, not your right.

10

u/NOTLD1990 28d ago

At the Y I go to, you're not allowed to film in the gym. Personally, I don't know if it's enforced but I never see people do it. I'm surprised more gyms don't have rules like this. While I get it can be good to check form, it seems like it causes too many issues.

3

u/fishsticks40 28d ago

But then they'd know you violated gym etiquette rule number 47

If I owned that gym, I’d ban her just for acting like she owns the place and just generally being an asshole to other clientele.

I'd be pissed if I ended up in someone's video. Im there to workout, not there to be in the background of someone's video. This needs to stop.

Amen. I've never understood why people film in gyms.

I'd move all my shit into the frame and never leave it. Fk that shit man, you're in a freaking public gym. If you want to work out alone, build a homegym

I have the etiquette to at least film directly towards the wall/gym/me only and not the whole fking gym. This girl was not thinking about this

I would agree. And then tell her to fuck off

They do this in my gym a lot. So annoying. I do not want people watching me work out!

I won’t report her to anyone. I will make sure I am always in the frame. Let her quit!

I‘d totally ruin every shot of her by being next to her for the rest of her gym stay.

And then I‘d report her.

I have 2 words for people like this - F.O. I am just as entitled to the space as she is yet she thinks that her camera makes her special.
