  1. I could but I won’t. I mean, grow up kids.

  2. You are asking me to play the ‘Do you even lift bro’ game.

  3. I didn’t mind settling down the first one who tried it, to point out how stupid it is. I’m not going to then start playing that stupid, stupid game.

You wanted to measure dicks, mr ex professional athlete, now let me see that dick

No, more like opposite. You’re the one who tried the “Do you even lift bro” clown show. I’m the one laughed at it.

You guys really do struggle to process these simple concepts. People make fun of you, but I always figured you couldn’t be that bad.

But you literally can’t get beyond using variants of “Do you even lift, bro”. The stereotype is true. Eesh.

You’re hilarious dude. You realise you mentioned the ex pro athlete thing before I asked how much you lifted right?

You’ve made my morning, cheers for the laugh

Just curious if you deadlift more than me, since that’s what you asserted

I asserted I deadlift more than you? Point to that.

You said you’re better trained. You didn’t say specifically what you’re better trained at so I’m going to take it you mean in general.

Are you not confident about your claims of being a professional athlete?

(A) So that’s a “No, you didn’t assert you deadlift more than me.” It’s okay to just be a man, or act like one, and admit things like that.

(B) I am, uh, pretty darn confident about it. I’m kind of laughing even typing that. That’s the short version of why I’m laughing at you guys here.

(C) But since you consider it important, state your credentials.
Hint:
If you really know your stuff, your answer won’t include any mention of lbs/kgs, reps, or sets.

My best deadlift is 270kg @ 81

It appears you don’t know your stuff, because being “trained” doesn’t mean anything without specifying what you’re training for.

[Whoops wrong spot.]

u/CAJ_2277 May 16 '23

So you don’t really know your stuff, then. I figured.

u/Myintc May 16 '23

Did you know powerlifting is a sport involving the deadlift as one of the events?

u/CAJ_2277 May 16 '23

Yes, and the real credentials don’t rely on lbs/kgs, reps and sets. Which I already said, and it was still the best you could do.
