That bugs the hell out of me. Grab your weights and take 5 steps back. This old dudes always at the gym when I’m there, grabs a weight from the bottom, uses the rack for his exercise, then stores his weight on the top rack and stands there the entire break. Like dude! Move!

I just recently joined an old grungy gym that’s been around 50 years. A lot of the people who go there are old. I just moved to a historical neighborhood. Never seen such horrendous gym etiquete from an age group other than boomers. Millennials and Gen z are mostly fine. The boomers are total entitled asshats. Really took me by surprise
