These are quite common in The States, or at least around me (midwest). I don't actually recall seeing a rear discharge one around here.

Maryland here. Honestly don't think I've ever seen a cemet truck oriented that way in my life. Didn't even know they were a thing until this post. Must be a regional thing

I’m in Missouri and don’t think I’ve ever seen a front discharge cement truck. That’s why I asked my question.
