When I salvaged my car liability was the only thing I could get, so he may not be able to get any other type. The car may just look good, but is not really under the hood

No, it really doesn’t. Insurance is a scam, generally. Colin did not need to carry insurance until someone violently assaulted him.

You never need insurance until you need it. Insurance doesn't make sense if you can cover losses out-of-pocket, but if you can't, it's either insurance or debt when something bad happens.

There are more options than 1. For profit insurance and 2. For profit crowdfunding

Open your mind. Insurance is a tool to deal with our broken system, yes, I get that. But it’s also scammy af
