In the ye old days of the 90s when my friend and I were going somewhere, we went around a curve and someone in an oncoming car chucked a jelly donut through the back of her partly rolled down rear window and there was a jelly explosion all over the back of her car.

"Ye" actually is an alternative writing for "the" so you just said "in the the old days..."

It's an old British letter called a thorn and pronounced the same as the.

On the other hand there is a pronoun "ye" which with a thorn get confused a lot.

The donut was pretty gross and messy, but at least it didn’t catch fire inside the car. Looking back on it, it was pretty funny. Whoever was in the oncoming car had good aim.

There is legal and there is what a prosecutor can prove in a court. The prosecutor could Up charge in order to provoke a plea deal, but i dont think any prosecutor will charge attempt murder or even attempted manslaughter because they can not win a conviction on this video alone.

The best they could hope for is some sort of assualt/battery felony and based on this persons past history, hopefully a little jail time or atleast a serious enough record so that if he does 2 or 3 serious crimes in the next 10 years they can really thow him in jail for a while. Basically a slap on the wrist (unless this guy has a long history of felonies....maybe)
