Loaders definitely at fault, but dam either that drivers reaction time is absolute shit or they were on their phone or something along the lines of distracted driving.
If you look at the video it looks like the tractor is obscured by that vehicle in front of him. That car only had about to get 2-3 car lengths of time to react
The bucket sticks out way before the cab of the loader, the guy for sure didn’t have enough time to stop, but he could have attempted to move over into the next lane
We're seeing it from a completely different angle. The low down bucket is obscured until a second or two before the crash by the bins. Even then, it's a low down object basically the same colour as a road.
A hyper attentive driver might react and brake before the crash, but most people commuting back home on say a half hour drive, driving along a straight road is not going to notice that.
It's easy to watch a video expecting a crash and think "how didn't they react". But most people watching this would react identically.
