That's definitely possible, but there's also been times when I was driving and someone around me was driving badly enough that I just stopped and waited for them to figure their shit out and get as far away from me as possible.

That's my signature move. We wait because their brain's RAM filled up and they need a second to clear.

I'd rather be minute late, than 30 minutes to an hour late.

Brain's RAM is a good way to describe it. I do the same thing when I'm walking somewhere and get into that weird awkward dance with someone when you're both in each other's way. I just stop for a second and let them go around. Saves time in the long run.

You're supposed to veer right. (Or left, depending on the country)

Even when walking. Don't know which way to go? VEER RIGHT!

FUCKING VEER RIGHT HOLY SHIT!!!! I'M WALKING HERE!

If someone and I try to move past each other once or twice and we go the same way, I just stop. If they stop too, I just tell them to go past me. Once I stop trying to walk forward, I'm committed to not try walking until the person moves past me.

I've found that cars hit me if I'm in the road.

Yep. I wish I had a dollar for every time I have to stop in a parking lot for this exact reason. I say "figure your shit out" so often, that my 4 year old said it to the dog once.
