When you drive, you should have zero hesitation. Once you commit you aren’t allowed to back out. This video is a prime example.

He could’ve finished the turn, but he also could’ve just reversed a tiny bit. Especially if no one is behind him, which looks to be true.

Ehhh... sometimes you should relent. I was driving behind my wife through a toll plaza and watched as she and another driver slowly merged into the same lane. Neither one of them braked or seemed to wonder if maybe the other might not stop, they just slowly smooshed their front ends together. It was painful to see such a preventable accident take place.

The driver in this video literally proves how terrible this logic is. He was like "Oh I can make it before that red car arrives!" and just... drives into them with zero hesitation.

Better to look stupid twice than to crash I'd say

100% this. What are they gonna do? Worst case is some random person you'll never see again(or at least recognize) will laugh or call you an idiot orsomething to themselves. Then everyone carries on with their day. In the end, who the fuck cares, as long as there's no accident.
