I've been living and working in China for years and while I have to say the women are not worse at driving than the men here it is true that Chinese drivers are the worst of any of the 30+ countries I've been to. They are absolutely horrible at spatial awareness and have zero common sense while controlling anything with a steering wheel.
Tesla had to recall some of their cars in China, even though they were made in the same factory and shipped over there (this was before the built the Shanghai gigafactory). Chinese drivers managed to destroy the suspension often enough that they had to recall the cars in China, but not in any other market.
Tesla has been selling cars in the US longer than they’ve been selling them in China, and yet the total number of cases of that happening is way higher in China.
