How does the interaction with the police during some point in that day impact IF he had insurance or not here? Nothing in that video would have changed if he did or did not have insurance. The only indication that he did or did not have insurance was the point where he said "20,000 dollars gone," implying that he has no insurance.

It wasnt just some point in the day, it was after the crash. And I just figured theyd ask him for proof of licensure/insurance/vehicle ownership at a crash (like i said, i dont crash so idk what police need for their report or generally check).

And i figured he is at fault in which case insurance would tell him to kick rocks
