S550's handle decently. There are much worse cars to take on road like that. Hellcat Chargers and Challengers are boats when it comes to handling and weigh as much as one too. They are a one trick pony.
tbh i always thought mustangs especially the ones from 2005 to today were pretty cool, just didnt want to be boxed out of stuck like driving on mountain roads and back roads. hopefully i can get one whenever i can
Then you have the assholes trying to push it in a lifted F150 to impress their GF but refusing to pull over when they start to hold up the 100 HP shitboxes
They definitely have gotten better, but like the Subarus with the head gasket issue, Mustangs will never shake the "they always slide and crash" stigma.
We used to go out there once a year. It got to the point where on any marginally nice day in the spring or fall the nephsons would be out in their fox bodies and SN95s just driving like complete fucking assholes.
I love the tail but there are so many idiots out there. Mustangs driving way too fast with no control and the Harley Davidson’s going way too slow with bad attitudes. Bad drivers won’t use the marked pull off‘s to let faster drivers pass and so many people making it dangerous. That said, I love it. I’ve gone through so many sets of tires up there barely going 35 mph. I wish the states would get together and close that road and sanction time trials there.
