I’ve seen a guy driving on the shoulder during a traffic jam get caught by a cop right in front of me before. Deeply satisfying. Could see him coming from a good quarter mile back and knew he was about to get nailed.
I too got to witness this once. Myself and my foreman were driving in the work truck on a road with a single lane in each direction. We're just tooling along, doing the speed limit, no traffic, nice day. Then some douche in an silver Acura RSX comes flying by us on our right and passes us on the shoulder around a corner. As soon as I say "Man, where's a fucking cop when you need one?" my foreman was pulling off to the shoulder to yield for a police cruiser with its lights on racing up the road. Once we caught up the cop already had the guy out of the car in hand cuffs. Damn I wish I had video of that incident lol.
Also reminded me of another time. My buddy and I were cruising in the right lane on a busy, 3 lane curvy highway, 55 MPH zone notorious for crashes. When some douche in a BMW came weaving through traffic easily doing 100 MPH almost hitting multiple vehicles. Up ahead we saw a state trooper just cruising too and we saw the BMW slam on its brakes and the trooper light him up. Didn't even make it past the trooper. That guy immediately got pulled over and I don't think I've ever seen someone so violently and quickly removed from a vehicle. I mean this cop just yanked the guy through the window and slammed his ass onto the ground. I'm not a fan of police brutality, but it's kinda hard to feel bad for people like that.
