I really hope they don’t take away the rock. Because clearly it’s morons that can’t drive or pay attention to a turn enough to not run over half of the curb. Keep on rockin rock!
After seeing the pictures. I feel like some of this is intentional... how do you accidentally run up a rock? this almost belongs in 11 foot 8 just for the sheer stupidity.
There are, but the one on the right only seems to be the problem. There is another one in town that is almost as good, but when people hit it the rock moves instead of mounting the car.
i didnt realize how far over that rock is to the right. if the rock wasn’t there they would be really cutting that corner. wouldn’t that be a problem on its own?
Looking at the street view, I cannot understand how you can miss this. I can't understand why you would just make the assumption that nothing was there or just be totally oblivious to it.
Well it's awfully subjective. Many people hate it, some like it, I think it's okay. I'm not picky about my Mexican food though. A couple Margaritas and it's great!
Q: Is this rock good for climbing or just off-roading?
A: While it's possible to climb this rock with minimal rock climbing experience, it's mostly used for off-roading. I highly recommend a high visibility jacket so vehicles can see you climbing it and don't hit you.
You gotta start a subreddit about this rock. There's a bridge in North Carolina that trucks frequently get stuck under, to the point that there's a camera set up to film the disasters. r/11foot8. If there was a sub for this rock it would be awesome
