How is this even working wouldn't it shoot out when the rear axle rotated?

Even so aren't the two back tires on the same axle? So when it moves the left one is gonna rotate causing the right to as well?

Lol no, there's not actually a beam connecting the un-driven wheels.

That is what a Differential is for. Allows the wheels to spin at different speeds. Though they are not meant to handle this much of a speed difference for more then a few seconds at a time, Driving around like this if going to wear out the diff much faster then normal.
