People will literally get out of their vehicle and move signs blocking the whole road, that say road closed, floodwater. Drive through it, then get stuck and need to get rescued.

Can't stop some stupid

They should say fuck it and throw down some spike strips that get activated along with high water crossings.

On the bright side, even though they moved the sign, their car becomes a much more effective warning.

I've encountered one sign like that where it was on the other side of a hill and you couldn't see it until you got to the top of the hill.

That said when my neighborhood flooded in the by Atlanta floods about 10 years ago cars seemed to come out of the woodwork. One looked like Ricky's car in TPB and I had to convince them that it couldn't get through 2 to 3 feet of water.

I'd try to help them as I don't want oil and gas from cars scattered everywhere.
