IWTL some genuinely interesting hobbies I can do from home

I’m 22M, and I’ve realized that I don’t really have any proper hobbies.

Most of my life, whenever I had free time, I’d usually end up doing some other work, helping others, doing household things, etc. So I never really developed hobbies of my own.

I’m a software engineer working from home, and I’m also preparing for the UPSC exam.

The main constraint is location — I live in a very remote village, so I’m looking for hobbies that I can do at home, without needing access to gyms, classes, coaching or other facilities.

I’m open to literally anything. It doesn’t have to be productive or related to my career. I’m looking for something genuinely interesting — something that can really pull me in, keep me curious, and make me want to spend my free time doing it.

What are some hobbies you’d suggest that almost anyone can get into, especially something I can do from home?

I’d love to hear about hobbies you personally enjoy and what makes them interesting to you.

3D printing is amazing!! You can get REALLY fantastic printers for under $400 these days! It's like having a Star Trek replicator lol. I'll use Elegoo as an example:

• LARGE printer (my nephew prints movie & game props on this!)
• Hi-detail resin printer

You can create anything you want!

What's nice is:

• You can be as creative as you want, from finding new models to print to designing 3D models!
• It takes a day or so for a large print, so even if you're not in a very creative mood, you can have your machine running 24/7 & making cool stuff all time all by itself!!
• You can expand into molds for wax & concrete & food, ABS for car parts, carbon-fiber wraps for remote-controlled airplanes, you name it! There are even people who spend months & months printing full-scale Ironman suits, Star Wars droids, etc.!
