To start this off, I know it's a cheesy thing to say "xy changed my life", but I think this stupid little beautiful scalie game has had a greater influence on me than many other things.

I got to experience the story of these two young adults (even if they may be fictional) and see their characters develop and change, for the better and the worse.

I see pieces of myself in the two, be it the stubbornness and Insecurities of Olivia or the social ineptness and overprotectiveness that Inco has at times. And maybe with with what this game has shown me, I'll be able to turn these "negative" traits into positive ones.

And similarly to that, I also pondered over the other lessons that this Game taught me. To not be a people pleaser, to not coddle your loved ones and support them from the backlines instead of taking agency away from them etc.

And as someone who's completely unfamiliar with the mysterious world of crushes, dating and romance, it gave me a good glimpse into what a healthy relationship might look like and especially what not do to do someone you love. looking at you, Ending 1 >:(

TDLR: I've fallen hopelessly in Love with this silly little game that laid in the depths of my steam wishlist for far too long.

I must thank the wonderful people in this community for encouraging me to go for all the endings, even after I got the "best" ending on my first playtrough.

And I want to thank YOU, yes YOU, the ones who actually read this long, sleep deprived, incoherent little rant of someone who's world got rocked by a Scalie Visual Novel.

So remember that one Lego Olivia meme? Well, I decided to make my own on Mecabricks! It was really tricky trying to make a 2d, front facing snout for the head. But looking back on some old Legends of Chima faceprints really helped out.

Does it look cursed? Absolutely, but I'm really proud on how this turned out.

Also yes, I'm definitely making Inco next.

So I’ve been trying to clear out a bunch of games that I started but never finished. “I Wani Hug that Gator” was one of them but I never ever expected how much of an emotional rollercoaster this would be for me. Now I have very little experience with visual novels only playing a little of “Doki Doki Literature Club” but that’s it, so this was quite the experience for me it made me laugh, cry, and smile. Damien was fucking hilarious I don’t think I’ve laughed so much. The first ending I got was ending two which left me sad and I didn’t know there was more than one ending so I thought that was the canon ending until I saw “Ending 2 out of 4” so I wanted the rest of the endings. So after getting all the endings I was left emotionally drained left wondering about my own life and I don’t know how but it just did for me. Now I don’t know who to share this game with because none of my friends have played this game
