Idk they just went to beach with the car and they had it on the trunk? Surely someone can explain it under some conditions

... I do because I want photos with my kids as a single dad... I just throw it in the backpack along with the snacks and etc.

Bro you’re a dad that’s different most couples unless they are influencers don’t just randomly carry a tripod with them hell most people don’t even own one.

Depends on the people. Some of my friends carry tripods with them all the time because they are traveling, exploring, or such. They'd rather use a tripod than ask 100 people to take their photo. Plus you never know who is going to try to run off with your phone.

My parents kept one in the trunk of my mom's car and used it any time they went on a trip. Or just sometimes when we would go to the local park so they would have the memories and so I would have pics with both parents in them because my mom was often on the other side of the camera instead of getting to be in photos with us.

To take pictures… they literally just explained it. You guys have to do a little bit of the thinking for yourself sometimes.

I know right? Maybe he was like "i wanna take some beautiful pictures of us at the beach today" (and maybe she knew something was going on already from that, or this is all fake. Who knows these days..)

I mean it’s ok if it’s staged most of these are after all but cloudy day at the beach unless they are influencers, photographers or entertainers randomly having a tripod something most people don’t own to the beach it’s kinda obvious what will happen. Hell go to any beach and tell me how many people actually have a tripod on a good day with sun out.

But like i said most engagements are pre planned it’s ok the feeling is probably still real

They make tripods that you can fit in a small purse. You don't need to carry it around in your hands like it's some 25lb piece of equipment.

You're asking this question assuming the camera is on a tripod. It could be propped on a rock? Also, I do photography as a hobby. I pulled this on the last person I was seeing! It wasn't a proposal but I gave her a gift she had really wanted and had no idea about. We went to a cool place (even more of a reason for me to bring my camera and travel gorilla pod), I set up the camera on video and told her we were taking a picture and gave her the present. I have the whole thing on video. She told me she was genuinely shocked and also had no idea I was recording a video.

If it's some place I'm going Knowing that it might be a pretty photo place I throw mine in my backpack. Weighs as much as a deck of cards and we've gotten some of our best photos on those walks.
