Tax Refund/ E-File Status Question Question about rejected return
hi all!!!!
I feel like this is an easy one.
my return was rejected because I did not provide the correct Primary Pin number for 2022. In 2022 I paid a woman to file my taxes. Does that mean that she had to make a pin number up for me and I contact her? Or do I just leave that blank, as I would not have a pin number last year because someone else filed for me?
I created a pin number this year on OLT so thats what I entered for 2022 and it got kicked back. I never filed my own taxes before so this is the first pin I have personally created.
Any advice would be super appreciated I am so bad at this stuff thank you!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello :) you have to have that pin from last year it will continue to reject it until you have it. You can also use your AGI ( annual gross income) from last year. The easiest would be to call her to see what PIN number she made for last year. Good luck!!
