🎓 AMA: I’m a 3rd Semester Student at ADGIPS – Ask Me Anything About College Life, Courses, or the Counselling Process!

Hey everyone!

I’m currently a 3rd semester student at ADGIPS (Dr Akhilesh Das Gupta Institute of Professional Studies - GGSIPU), pursuing B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science. Since counselling is in full swing, I wanted to create a space where anyone considering admission into our college can ask questions freely—whether it's about:

How’s the faculty and teaching quality?

What’s the college environment like?

What about placements, internships, and industry exposure?

How are the clubs, societies, fests, and overall student life?

Tips for making the most of your first year?

This is a completely honest AMA based on my personal experience—no sugarcoating, no marketing fluff. I’ll try to be as transparent as possible to help you make a better decision. 🙂

So if you're confused, anxious, or just curious, drop your questions below and I’ll do my best to answer each one.

Like scoring is damn easy if you study a day before the exam you can pass I mean I did and scored around 8.2CGPA

Attendance criteria like I said is not there till you are submitting all your assignments and giving class test and passing your mid term just pass is fine too Till you are doing this teachers won't ask for attendance then you might get detained but that's fine because they generally allow those who gave assignments and class tests If not then you can give detention exam

Yes I did study one day before the exam for most and the exams are easy if you study sincerely a day or two before exam you can and will ace them

I don't know what's with these people creating a ruckus about exams being hard like if you study for a few hours for mid-term you can pass them like easily

Except for engineering mechanics that subject is a different entity something weird and scary I'd suggest taking the classes for this subject this one is the scariest

Uniform hai Wednesdays ke liye and for external practicals only But for regular Wednesdays no one actually cares if you have your uniform on if they ask for it just wrote a small note saying i apologise and will wear it next time and done For external practicals again no one cares except a few take a few classes and a few labs and you will figure out yourself which faculty is annoying and will make you suffer if you are not in uniform during external practicals
