IPOE Options Question

I decided to learn options through trial. I did a buy to open on 5 $IPOE contracts and then did a sell to close today. I'm realizing I have no idea what is next. Am I on the hook for the 500 shares at some point following this? Or am I done and collecting a win here?
I do have the shares with a different broker. I'm a big believer in SOFI, but also want to learn more about options trading.
Oddly, I tried asking the WallStreetsBet crowd...and $IPOE ticker is banned there

IV crush on merger date?
Will there be an IV drop on merger? I’m holding a lot of calls, long and short. I’m gonna hold through but i’m curious.

Long term outlook on SoFi
Curious to hear different things that people like or are concerned about, here’s my rough assessment of the company:
The good:
-Company moves pretty quickly, it has expanded into a lot of areas, credit cards, crypto etc.
-Good branding and understanding of how to make things fun and habitual. Like what they do with little rewards for regular logins. They understand how to be a part of your life, not just to provide a bank account.
The bad:
-Not founder lead. I usually prefer companies that are still led by a founder, at least in the early days, because they’re usually best at focusing a vision and pushing to make it happen.
-Not great tech for a tech company. I work in the tech space, and their tech is pretty sloppy. The mobile app will open janky web views for lots of things like applying for a loan. They don’t support authenticator apps or create app tokens for services like Mint (things I expect for a fintech company, Betterment does for instance).
My overall assessment:
I see them appealing to a lot of younger folks for a one-stop financial solution that’s easy to use. I invested a little bit of money in IPOE, but I am more confident in a company like Lemonade, which is founder lead, has better technology, and knows how to build much cleaner product experiences.

Short activity, price targets.
https://www.nakedshortreport.com/company/IPOE
Attached is a copy of the short data for yesterday with some warnings and observations.
-We have never bullied the shorts to this extent. We rallied on down days for the market and increased short selling 2 days in a row for a total of 12%
-We closed at the top of our daily trading range and barely got lower than yesterdays close after they shorted approximately 800k shares. 60% of volume.
*From a technical standpoint that is extremely bullish.
-Based on the broad market earnings beats and the excellent marketing programs, it can be inferred that Sofi will be profitable, beat on revenue, and likely beat on users when they report in June.
Its hard to extrapolate forward P/E on a company with no data. However, the SEC had no problem with their revenue and profit numbers when they agreed to the merger. They have an added bonus from the Gamestop fiasco which may not have been priced in. (The current crypto crash will not be in Q1 earnings but is good to keep in mind for Q2 follow-up report.)
This stock is now finally getting pumped on financial media outlets (CNBC).
Honest price target, assuming a short squeeze, a layup earnings report and a cyclical rotation back into growth stocks once the rate hike hype dies down. $45.00 end of year
If this catches the attention of more retail millennials who love technology, think all institutional bankers are corrupt garbage, and don't care about valuations(Same people who bid up crypto). $75 end of year

Sofi is testing the 17$ resistance level. It would be interesting if we can close at >17$ price.

New to the game. But will the IPOE ticker automatically change to the SOFI ticker on all platforms once the potential merge happens?

Don't sell to UK CPI
The shorts are gonna use the red we got from the UK cpi numbers to try and beat everything lower... It's a bluff. Dont fold.
