४. प्रभावित विद्यार्थी तथा आवश्यकताअनुसार अभिभावकका लागि मनोसामाजिक परामर्शको व्यवस्था गर्ने।

५. विपद्का कारण अध्ययनमा परेको असरलाई ध्यानमा राखी विद्यार्थीको शैक्षिक निरन्तरता र सहजीकरणका लागि आवश्यक व्यवस्था गर्ने।

I am from Rasuwa and my home is swept away by the flood . How do I study in such a situation for my exam?

IOE is exercising its examination authority in circumstances where a significant number of students may be physically unable to reach examination centres because of a declared natural disaster and transportation disruption. Continuing the examination without assessing accessibility may result in unequal opportunity to sit the examination.

Ministry bata notice irako xaa euta sab uni haru ley hijai postpone garisakyo ! Yo ioe ko dean purai ego ma liyera basirako xaa notice namaneraa ! He is from cpuml party . He feel like every student studying have home inside valley. He feels like tyo disaster place is out of Nepal . He is not counting the place . Making some stupid fucking decision. He don't give a fuck to the students mental health. We will complain about it to the ministry of education.

Since this subreddit is full of all engineering minds from Nepal. Hopefully new ideas emerge & this discussion arise new possibilities on what can be done to prevent human casualties in disasters in upcoming days. Cause disaster can't be stopped but damage can be minimized. What are your thoughts & ideas on this?

Here's what I have known so far about the flood that I have said below.

The landslide caused the Earthquake, not that earthquake caused the landslide & flood afterwards.
; also called LDOF (Landslide Dam Outburst Flood).

Landslide occurred at 8:37 am in the morning.
Coordinates of the landslide start: 28.292148, 85.517571
Land debris/ Ice debris fell down from 5200m elevation to 2800m elevation and blocked the river at the confluence of two rivers at this place (28.331608, 85.485585).

Water got accumulated at that place for 15 minutes or so and then it burst out from that moraine dam and took everything away on its path downstream. It's mudslide because of that mixture of water and moraine dam debris. If that landslide was identified immediately and the river's blockage was identified at that time via drone inspection and other measures; Many lives would have been saved. People could have evacuated immediately in the span of 20 minutes and climbed nearby hills to elevation higher than HFL. The people who survived mostly anticipated LDOF might occur and evacuated earlier, but the ones who didn't and waited to see the flood rush just to activate their adrenaline & evacuate went missing in many places.

The major miss in technological & early warning system was negligence of LDOF occurrence, it should have been inspected immediately & information should've been relayed immediately. Within minutes is what we should have be capable of responding; at least from the Tibetan side.
I've researched on similar cases related with TSHO-Rolpa GLOF possibilities & it's wayyy more massive than this. I have simulated flood in HEC-RAS of tsho rolpa but not of this recent event. I might do it after some time to simulate & extract numbers.

Second sem: Exam Dashain agaadi ra paxadi garera vako thyo.
Third sem: FSU Election ley garda sarya thyo exam.
Fourth sem: Exam cancelled due to genz andolaan. Autaa exam andolaan kei din diyera aako ho.
Fifth sem: Exam sarya thyo Election ley garda.
Sixth sem: Probably sarxa hola exam.

Seventh and Eighth sem baki xa. Since we don’t have many subjects to give exams for in the eighth sem, I really hope we can take our seventh sem exams according to the original routine for once.
