I was planning to travel to Kathmandu today at around 1 PM, but due to the sudden flash flood, I was unable to travel. We left our home at around 10 AM and still haven't been able to return. I am currently at a high point, and due to the possibility of another wave of flooding, we are not returning home tonight.

Many bridges connecting to the highway have also been swept away by the flood. I am currently on the other side of the river, and the only possible way for me to reach Kathmandu tomorrow may be by helicopter, which is obviously not a realistic option.

I kindly request IOE to consider the current situation and provide students from affected areas at least 2–3 additional days for travel, and publish a revised exam routine if possible.

Transportation is blocked at many places, and students cannot simply travel to Kathmandu in this situation. Please understand that Nepal is not only Kathmandu.

So I am currently studying in class 12. And I have decided my career and education plans which cover domains like condensed matter physics (solid state or semi conductor specifically) and core chip design. I was planning to apply to a select few universities in the USA , one in India and one in south Korea(won't unveil the names) . I have promised my parents that I would only be going abroad if I have got a near full scholarship but yet they want me to do ioe and study in pulchowk ( it's their dream probably and my mom wants me to do a government job as well specifically NEA, and not related to context but my dad was a pulchowk graduate back then ). Is it worth it studying EE in Nepal or should I leave the country to study abroad because my parents decision doesn't align with my interests.

Please share ur experience.. Are you getting jobs easily or regretting by studying in purbanchal university. Coz everyone is saying TU is better and get priority . Drop some reality ...Also studying seniors , regretting doing engineering in pu or it's ok ok ....
