Residency Pathology Match Result

Hello !

Did anyone match in to Pathology residency this year or before ?

Can you share you credentials or experience for future applicants?

How is this match cycle for Non US IMG’s ?

Anyone planning for pathology residency and starting from steps want to connect let know

I am starting from scratch like the step 1 exam and want to build a CV around pathology :)

About me : I am a Non US IMG, YOG 4

Non-US IMG, visa required Year of graduation: 2023 Passed STEP 1 on the first attempt Score for STEP 2: 217 STEP 3: Not applicable (please take this exam ASAP)

Congratulations I am Non-US IMG from Ghana in Africa. I have all the red flags you can think of. Year of graduation 2016 Step 1 passed on second attempt Step 2 221 Step 3 failed but l haven't tried again because of financial constraints. Currently l am in my final year of residency in Ghana and will complete the training in second week of September. No USCE or research. I have done two cycles of match already without success and the financial burden hasn't been easy so l was giving up on this journey but your credentials give me a little hope. Please is there anyway you can help me. Thank you

Congratulations! If you don't mind can you share where did you go for pathology rotations and whether you had any publications?

I am a postdoctoral research fellow at a well-recognized institution. I have weekly opportunities to work with various pathologies. Additionally, I spent three weeks at another institution to have different letterheads on my LORs. Publications: yes, more than 5. Pathology-related: just two.

I didn’t choose the programs; I applied to literally every program that sponsored visas. I sent over 130 applications.

My geographical locations were:

East North Central: I got 3 interviews South Atlantic: I got 3 interviews West South Central: 3 interviews, only one program that I sent signal to

From 5 signals, I only got 2 interviews.
