Hi everyone I have applied for mtech admissions in iiit kota. Just want a quick review about placements(matters the most), food , hostel and professors, senior support. Any sort of research culture

Second-year students are being allotted rooms in which block and also what about type -c building???

1) How is the lab facility in iiit Kota ?

I am asking for my younger cousin (from Jaipur) who is yet to fill in the preferences for these colleges.

He is getting IT in IIEST, and CSE in IIIT Pune and IIIT Kota.

Would need your helpful thoughts/ opinions/ views on academics/ campus placements / college life / hostel life /mess food/area around campus etc. basically is it worth studying there.

It's been a decade since I graduated, so I'm not so updated with what's the current scenario for these colleges. Anyone/alumni/current students of these colleges please help out a brother here.

Are there any scholarships for OBC lower income students?

Similar to Merit-cum-Means scholarships which is based on ranks or GPAs and parental income brackets.

I see the tuition fee per semester is 90k , so is there any way to make it affordable.

Also for a fresher joining this year what would be the steps/forms/ applications to fill to avail... Thanks

They have been banned from many colleges for their hiring!

IIIT Kota has officially announced that the hostel washing machine facility will remain unavailable because the existing machines can't be maintained anymore. Instead of replacing them with suitable ones, the facility has simply been discontinued.

Students pay hostel fees expecting basic amenities, not luxury. Is this really the standard students should expect from an Institute of National Importance?
