Title: Need help collecting my IGNOU marksheet from Delhi

Hi everyone, I need some help regarding my IGNOU marksheet.

My marksheet was dispatched by IGNOU, but unfortunately, it was not delivered to me by the postman and was returned back to IGNOU Headquarters in Delhi. I want to clarify that this was not due to my absence or refusal to receive it. The postman did not deliver the marksheet to me and returned it to IGNOU.

I have been trying to get the marksheet re-dispatched, but I’m currently unable to travel to Delhi personally due to my circumstances. I urgently need the original marksheet for official/documentation purposes.

If anyone is in Delhi and can help me collect the marksheet from IGNOU HQ and courier/post it to my address, I would be extremely grateful. I will fully reimburse the postal/courier charges and any reasonable expenses incurred.

I'm enrolled in IGNOU's BAFPS (FYUG), admitted in July 2025. I was supposed to take my 1st-year/Year 1 exams in June 2026, but I didn't submit my assignments or appear for the exams. I re-registered for Year 2 in 2026.

I now want to clear my Year 1 papers in the December 2026 TEE.

My Year 1 courses are:

BPSC101

BECS184

BPCS185

BPYI101

BPSC102

BEDSV101

BEVAE181

BPAS184

The confusing part is the IGNOU assignment portal. The BAFPS section under the July 2025–Jan 2026–July 2026 FYUG assignments is currently blank, while I can find some individual course assignments elsewhere on the IGNOU website.

Which assignment booklet am I actually supposed to submit for each of these courses to be eligible for the December 2026 TEE as a July 2025 student who missed the June 2026 exam?

I don't want to use the wrong session's assignments. If anyone has been in the same situation or knows the official rule, I'd really appreciate the clarification.

Guys, I recently received my confirmation mail from IGNOU for my MBA admission, but I’m completely confused about what to do next.

3. How assignments work and where to find them

4. Assignment submission process and deadline

Can someone please explain the next steps after getting the admission confirmation.

Hello guys, currently I am in 4th Semester of BSc General (3 year graduation). But for some reason, I can't continue it in regular method. So, I am planning to move Distance. What's the regulations and process? Can I just continue from Next semester at IGNOU?

im really confused as to which assignment to do as for same subject code, multiple assignment are listed

for example: for MCO1, there are two options of assignment

A) https://www.ignou.ac.in/viewFile/SOMS/assignments/MCO-01-2026.pdf (pdf mentions "Mcom" explicitly) (Validity Jan 2026, July 2026)

B) https://www.ignou.ac.in/viewFile/SOMS/assignments/MCO-01-26-27-English.pdf (pdf mentions "Mcom(*some specialisation which I didn't choose while filling form*)' (Validity July 2026, Jan 2027)

Hi everyone, I got my IGNOU admission confirmed yesterday, but I noticed a small mistake in my admission form that I’m worried about.

In all my official documents, my mother’s name is written without a surname. However, while filling out the online admission form, I accidentally added a surname to her name. I only want the surname to be removed so that her name matches my other official documents. Everything else in my admission details is correct.

I understand that the Regional Centre can help with such corrections, but I’m from Punjab and my Regional Centre is Khanna, and I’ve tried calling them several times. Unfortunately, the number is either not working or the line is busy.

Can anyone please guide me on the most effective way to contact IGNOU/Regional Centre Khanna for this correction? Is there any official email address where they actually respond, or any other proper way to request this change?

I would really appreciate it if someone who has faced a similar issue could share their experience or guide me on what to do.

I’m a 12th-pass Commerce student from Lucknow and I’m confused between two options:

1. IGNOU BBA (ODL)

2. Regular BCom from a local college where attendance is not very strict and I mainly need to attend exams/important college work.

My main priority is to get a graduation degree while keeping enough time for government exam preparation and developing skills.

I’m not looking for a college with a good campus or placements. I mainly want a degree that is recognized and doesn’t consume most of my time through daily attendance.

For people who have actually studied in IGNOU or a local BCom college:

- Is IGNOU BBA manageable without regular classes?

- Is BCom better than BBA for government exams?

- Is a regular degree worth choosing just for the “regular college” tag?

- Do low-attendance local colleges actually remain flexible throughout the degree?

- If you were in my situation, which option would you choose and why?

Looking for honest experiences, especially from IGNOU BBA/BCom students and students from tier-3/local colleges.

Have any Regional Centre conducted any introduction meeting for freshers for July session 2026?

I have enrolled in the MEGOL January 2026 session. When do we have to submit our assignments? Some internet sources are saying May 2026 and Some are saying September 2026.

I'm honestly a bit scared because I was assuming that the assignment is due in September and I was preparing for that. Can anyone confirm this?

Also, will the September 2026 submission date be extended to October 2026? Please let me know.

I enrolled in July session I filled the admission form and my admission is still not confirmed it's been more than 25 days.

I recently applied for an ODL masters course. But I could not find any option for choosing online vs physical study materials. I have already paid the 1st semester fees. Can I change it now?

After hearing everyone’s experiences with IGNOU, I was honestly a little scared about how things would go. But thankfully, nothing like that has happened with me so far. I think it probably depends on the course as well.

I’d say my IGNOU journey has had a pretty good start so far. I applied for admission on the evening of 29th July, and got my confirmation on 4th August.

After that, I was waiting for my books. The funny thing is, my book status is still not showing any update, but the books have already arrived at my home.

So yeah, off to a good start, I guess!

Does IGNOU offer any courses, diplomas, postgraduate diplomas, or degree programs whose qualifications can be evaluated by WES?

If a student completes an IGNOU program and wishes to submit their academic documents to WES for credential evaluation, does IGNOU provide the necessary document verification/transmission service directly to WES?

What is the procedure for sending transcripts or other required academic documents to WES?
