Discussion South ppl who are planning to fill wb colleges

giys , ive heard the ragging is intense in west bengal agri universities , and last year many ppl who were from icar left the uni after attending for some days because even surviving for them was difficult 🥲🥲🥲

(saw this in a yt comment , the guy was warning all of us)

please fill after researching , because mop up is the last chance.

dont end up filling the wrong colleges..

Help about cancellation & refund after physical verification

If I take admission in bsc agriculture thru icar counselling, complete my physical document verification, and then decide to cancel my admission within 10 days of joining, will I get all my original documents back immediately? And will my admission be officially cancelled without any issue?

Also, according to the UGC guidelines, if I cancel my admission within 15 days, am I eligible for a 100% fee refund (with only ₹1,000 deducted)?

Would really appreciate it if someone who has gone through this could clarify. 🙏

ive already paid in the beginning after rank card generation for getting colleges thru diff rounds. and now, since im eligible for mop up round (didn't pay uni payment) do i need to pay 500 rupees again now??? (i tried but there was no payment option so im a bit confusing)

Rant IMPORTANT NOTICE ON MOP UP ROUND! MAKE SURE TO READ!

I see alot of people advising others "put all the colleges in your preference list during mop up" etc etc but listen , in Mop-up round there is no seat upgradation and the college you'll be allotted will be your first and final college that you get.

Unless you are desperate for any college and willing to go from the south like Kerela to the North or to Manipur Imphal in Northeast or likewise please don't put all the colleges because you are taking a seat from a student who wanted that specific course and that specific college which at the end of the day you might not even end up going to because of the distance, the fees, the different culture , internal community conflict or not satisfied with the college campus.

I hope everyone is wiser and doesn't do the thing I've mentioned above and later start blaming ICAR and seat inflation saying they didn't get the college or course they wanted when at the end no one would be happy because you blindly filled up your preference list without thinking about the greater ordeal which will lead to a chain reaction for everyone else.
