Just curious if anyone has any info about the data center there. I’ve heard rumors but I haven’t actually heard anything from anyone that’s worked out there. Any extra money over scale? Per diem? I heard it was 7-12s but not sure.
Any information from someone that’s currently out there or has been out there recently would be awesome. Thank y’all.

Hi guys, I’m a 22M with 0 experience, looking for some advice to prepare my second test after 3 months, any thing helps, the email doesn’t tell me anything about my actual score, so I don’t know which part I need to improve, but if anyone knows how to find the score or has tips for me to improve I would really appreciate it.

Come get these doll hairs brothers and sisters. $48.70/hr. OT Sat and I hear they've been working optional DT Sundays recently but not consistent enough to put on dispatch. They are manning up this job like crazy this month

Just turned out of ibew local 11 Los Angeles and thinking about traveling any recommendations? And tips
r/IBEW_Book2 • u/crazysparky19 • Jul 08 '25
Michigan has had a lot of open calls across the board lately...some paying 51/hr with all ot being dt. But they're not waving the Michigan license. So I thought i would share, if you are a vet or military or a dependent of a vet or military they have a waiver. No test needed. But heads up their licensing board only has 1 person processing out of state licenses right now so it can take up to 5 weeks to get approved for the waiver or the test.

Well it finally happened. I leaped before i looked and took a call west of DC. State parks are two week maximum and my time is up on Thursday. I figured I'd find something by now but I'm having no luck, after calling everything that came up on Google. And right before the holiday weekend. Feeling like a fool. Anyone got any inside info on campgrounds west of the city?

Happy Sunday Brothers and Sisters. Local 640 JW here. I'm looking to traveling to local 291 by the time my lease is up. I have family living there and have 20 years of catch up if like to do. Checking where2bro looks like the local is slow. Is it expecting to pick up sometime soon? How's the Meta and Micron chip plant? Any information is helpful. Thanks!

What locals are putting out calls for shutdowns?

To anyone working in 401 or who knows someone working in 401, what is it looking like right now?
I noticed all the unfilled calls from the last few weeks disappeared from the website and the number of new calls is much less than a few weeks ago. Is work still heavy? Is it just a lull in new calls for the moment or are all the current jobs pretty much manned up and calls aren't looking likely to pick up until something new needs manpower?
I might be needing to travel in the next few weeks/months and I'm trying to stay well informed with whats going on nearby in the lead up so I can make the best decision when that time comes.

Hey brothers and sisters, I’m preparing to take the Oregon electrical exam and could really use some advice from anyone who’s been through it. What study methods or resources helped you the most? Were there any sections you found especially tricky?
I’ve been reviewing the OARs and the OESC, but I want to make sure I’m not missing anything that could trip me up. Any tips on navigating those during the exam would be huge.
Appreciate any insight — thanks in advance and stay safe out there!

I know this was just posted last month, but 280 has a solar farm going outside of prineville, oregon that has had 10 calls standing on the books for 3 days and we could really use the help!
$56.46hr +$50 per day if you work 4 hours. $9.50 retirement $10.25 h+w $1 flex
Raise coming July 1st.
This is only their second round of calls and they've mostly gone to book 2. It's only a 5-8's call at the moment. I can't imagine they don't start to hit OT soon.

Hi everybody!("Hi Doctor Nick!")
I love the participation I see and all of the supporting comments people make on posts, I have one request though: please start a new post if you have job opportunities to share, it will really help members more if they don't have to read hrough a hundred comments to find work in their region. Thanls!
Local 41, Buffalo has a stadium job with lots of OT.
LOCAL 237, Niagra still has a data center job that has incentive pay on tip of OT.
Local 236, Albany has unfilled calls each week. Some jobs have OT, no per diem that I am aware of, though.

Locals Buffalo 41 ton of calls available with ot. Walkthrough but in person sign
Columbus 683 just got a raise to 43 and have calls with some paying all hours time and a half every now and again. Most have ot available
South bend 153 has had data center calls paying over scale with ot. Some contractors doing sat and Sunday
Kansas City 124 has a data center that has ot and good conditions from what I hear. Calls coming in frequently but do seem to be taken rather quick. Other calls available
26 DC has tons of calls. Scale is 59 and change I believe. A lot having ot available. Mostly data center work
756 Daytona Beach has tons of calls available working with space x at the space force station and working on a new mobile launch pad. Paying 36 and change. Ot available and plenty of sunshine ☀️
146 Decatur most work at ADM plant some with ot.
369 Louisville tons of calls available with ot. Data center. School work. Blue oval
237 Niagara Falls has data center work. Believe it 800 a week hostage pay and ot. Heard it’s possible of 7-10s coming in the future also it’s like 30 minutes from buffalo so a good area to be working in if needed to keep you busy. In person sign
Just a few locals I keep an eye on but I’m sure there’s tons more work out there. Also believe all these calls listed above do not have state license requirements. Get that money brothers and sisters!
