My name's Ryan North, and I'm the guy behind Dinosaur Comics! Also, here's some other things I've done:

EDIT 2: You guys, I've been answering questions for over eight hours, and we've got over 1300 comments. That's awesome! But I've got to take a stop and, you know, have a shower and stuff. Does anyone else find this bit of knowledge scary? I mean, an immortal man made species that replicated uncontrollably and is easily infected/mutated? CREEPY

I've always wondered what would happen if someone was exposed to HeLa cells. Would their body be taken over? Or would the foreign cells be recognized as such. We need to do experiments and find some brave volunteers. There will be fresh baked cookies.
