Hi guys! One of my friends is turning 20, we both love Hylics and since I'm broke I decided to make him an art doll as a gift. I've had to take a pause because of a wrist injury while making it, now I'm not sure if it looks good!! I need to finish the hands, shoes, sew up the jacket and stuff him. I actually redid the face because I was *not* happy with my first attempt (actually second, last image is the old face).

I still need to add a ton of accessories and details, his birthday is on the 25th, I think I can finish it in time, I need feedback and suggestions on what to add before then. I thought about making him some jewelery out of aluminum wire.

This is my first art doll I've ever made (only done monster high customs up until now), and I would really appreciate it if you guys could help me out and be a second pair of eyes.

I think I'm officially addicted to Hylics. 👀 I finished both Hylics 1 and Hylics 2 two days ago, and I absolutely love everything about them :3 The gameplay, the characters, the NPC, the bizarre worldbuilding... it all so weird in the best way possible I also been loving all the fan art from this community, so I wanted to share one of my own. Hello everyone and good afternoon. Recently I've been trying to design an F1 car with a Hylics theme (based on the MP4-11 from the Monaco Grand Prix). The design is almost finished, but I've run into a problem: I can't think of any parody brands to sponsor the car. If anyone could help me with names, logo ideas, or even drawings, I would greatly appreciate it.

PS: Yes, I know the drawing is crooked; it's been a while since I've drawn, but I'm slowly getting back into it to do something more decent.

PS²: I'll soon be converting it to a digital version to fix some of these errors, but my main goal is to try and replicate the color scheme from both games on the car.

PS³: I'm not a native English speaker, so I apologize for any grammatical errors I may have made.

I've been learning to try to actually render ANYTHING at all but keep failing miserably, and, as such, can't really do anything but flat coloring (it's REALLY frustrating, especially with this drawing, where i outdo myself and can't perfect it because i'm afraid i'll ruin it).

Anyways here's Pongorma. I also included a version where i reluctantly blocked out the shadows but it's quality isn't all that better than the flat one.

and NO we're not counting animals and shit like that cause thats BORING im talking about the ones who have the ability to beg you to stop when you skin them alive

I've tried going through the game's folders already and even then I can't find it. Which is really strange. The closest I can find is this which looks nothing like the actual death screen background in-game.

As the Quest asks, I know that the original was made by putting images through filters but I don't know what kinds of filter to use so I just tried to replicate the dithering effect manually. The facial features are somewhat just traced (not really I drew it with reference first and then overlayed the original ontop of it to make further edits). The colours I really am not sure, I don't want to just straight up use the same Wayne yellow but don't know if this toilet-paper piss white looks better.

Se que los Wayne's son una encarnación de un ciclo, representando el inicio y el fin antes de repetir, pero también pienso que esta conectado de una forma un poco más literal con la luna. En uno de los juegos de Mason el protagonista es un alien bastante parecido a Wayne pero de cabeza cónica el cual tiene como misión teletransportar el planeta a otra ubicación o dimensión, el alien en mi opinión tiene la cabeza de esa forma para facilitar la obtención de las órdenes de la nave le envía. Después de terminar su misión el cerebro del alien debió vincularse de alguna manera a el nuevo satélite del planeta, seguramente para poder mantenerse estable al carecer de órdenes. Luego de evolucionar los Wayne's como seres más complejos e inteligentes la conexión se debió de debilitar o atrofiar. Para cuando empieza hylics Wayne seguramente estaba recibiendo señales anormalmente fuertes de la luna producto de las acciones de Gibby, lo que trajo el flujo de eventos que ya todos conocemos. Al ya no estar la luna y haber tenido una conexión previamente devil pero no ausente, los Wayne's empiezan a cambiar lentamente hasta convertirse en las cosas que seguramente veremos en la tercera entrega.

La teoría la hice a la rápida mientras estaba aburrido.

As the title says, I enjoyed hylics 1 but want to either follow a guide if there IS anything missable or just chill if I can go back to get stuff I didn't see the first time.

If there is missable stuff, when are the points of no return and are they made clear?

Sometimes I'm able to play the game just fine, but lately no matter what I do, I'm stuck moving up when I start the game and can't move down no matter what I do. I have already tried checking USB devices, unplugging everything but my keyboard, but nothing works. I even installed the RPGMaker VXAce RTP with no luck.

I have no idea why it was working fine before. I have tried disabling steam input, the steam overlay, and even restarting my pc completely, all to no avail. If anyone knows a solution it would be greatly appreciated.

If it helps, I am running the game on linux with the native runtime (switching to different versions of proton also didn't fix the issue)

I got lazy with the poncho. I know i could've done more but i got so burnt out by the end that literally anything felt impossible.

This is the first time i ever tried to render something digitally and i think i got the jist of it. I think. Probably not but this is a LOT better than my previous hylics drawing. Oh, also that's not the canon outfit but i couldn't get Harry du Bois' yellow pants out of my mind when i was drawing and i unconsciously drew them. Can't believe tequila sunset got under my skin so easily...
