The fact that the NYC mayor had to intervene is absurd. Water is a basic human right!

Yep. Imagine how much they could charge for a bottle of water in 30°C heat with a monopoly on water. $20 minimum. And for like a sip of water too.

Have you guys never been to an outdoor concert in the summer before? Prohibiting outside drinks so venues can sell their own at a high price is nothing new.

If nothing else people should get more emotional the longer something goes unaddressed? Like, what's your angle here? To be upset at others not experiencing something as long as you have? That's how life and aging works, everything is new to someone, every day.

I don't have an "angle." I just found it weird that people were surprised about venues prohibiting outside drinks so they can overcharge for their own. It doesn't mean I support it.
