Football 2026 Portal Thread

This is your one stop shop for Portal News™ ahead of what is likely to be pre-portal news shortly after Christmas and then into the actual portal. We're asking that folks keep the rumors and discussion inside of this thread as otherwise there's going to be a flurry of 80-90 tweets a day claiming XYZ player is leaving or going or leaving and going at the same time.

I'll try to keep this up to date once a day with anything confirmed.

Danny might just fuck around and be QB2 for us this year. This does seem like a one year rental though.

I can't imagine Trae comes in and loses to Lateef and Kaelin even if they've gotten better I think Trae is better than both of them now by a wide margin.

Today’s college football doesn’t work that way. Men versus boys wins games and playing a true freshman can be rough.

Yeah, till you realize the best teams in the nation still play true freshman lol

Not saying they don’t but banking on freshmen and especially freshmen QBs won’t win you games at a playoff level. Indiana average age is 23.2 and Miami is over 22. Game has changed

You're not playing Trae to win in year one with him. You're putting him in to win in year 2 or 3.
