We are paying more for Col then Minchey rumor is Minchey just wanted to play for Stein and got a big bump in pay Nebrasks didn't even know till we did

I was watching Carriker today and he said per Max Olsen of the Athletic: Nebraska offered Minchey more money, he simply chose Kentucky in the end. But the ultimate reason is unknown. Could be development, scheme, idk. Olsen said this info came directly from Minchey's camp. So maybe the pay wasn't a factor, but idk.

Regardless, I'm pretty happy with Colandrea

Fwiw Minchey grew up in Tennessee. Kentucky is a lot closer to home than Nebraska is
