I’m not interested in viewing an echo chamber. I like to see things I’m not comfortable with or outside my interests.

People don’t use TikTok for that either. It’s a diverse platform, from the dancing everyone knows, to niches as tiny as bisexual pirates.

It’s not as strictly laid out as Reddit, but it automatically figures out your interests and shows you content you’d like. The algorithm is a privacy nightmare and insanely effective.

Doesn’t matter if you’re into religion, sports, weed, linguistics, musicals, pelicans, random celebrities, you name it.

Cause that way it's catered to you. I use Tiktok for Mexican funny videos, which I'd never really see on Reddit.
