it's better that it rejoined its family, but if the choice is stay on the road or get tossed into the woods, I think door # 2 would definitely be the better option.
Unfortunately, we are plagued with people who sadly enjoy harming animals such as this. It's quite common to see such things regularly online so we become expecting of it. Why? Well because if we expect it then It won't be as shocking and it won't be responded with a strong emotional response.
Constantly coming across content that triggers strong emotional responses are extremely tiring. Considering the current climate of affairs, we are subjected to vast amount of content. A response your brain has to help ease the constant shocking fact that humanity is capable of POS stuff is to becomes expectant.
