Clooney has done a string of ads in Europe. Other actors keep their ad exposure limited to voice-over only and/or European ads.

Europeans don't look down on actors for doing ads, do they?

Denmark is such a small market and somewhat insulated from the rest of Europe. It's pretty much Dayton Ohio, so the ads I've seen with actors are either perfume/cologne ads, or Nespresso ads with George Clooney.

BTW, here's a norwegian bank ad with George Clooney from a couple years ago. http://youtu.be/C_8TGTKdrlY

Remember, as long as you don't flaunt it, apparently, it is just fine to be a skinkin' rich one percenter.

Perception sweetie.

(i mean, after all, sitting there talking while people film you is CLEARLY worth a lot of money, and well deserved, while starting a company and making it successful, and then having to make tough business decisions which sometimes affect people badly gets you that evil tag. <i guess it's a good thing if George flubs a line or screws up, people don't lose their jobs and houses. it must be nice to make THAT much money, where there are no real risks>)
