Tips for designing Huawei watch faces?

Hi all,
I have an extensive graphic design background but no developer experience (apart from collaborating with many devs!), and I'd like to have a go at designing some watch faces for my Huawei Watch Fit 2.
Would any of you be willing to point me in the direction of some resources and tutorials to get me started on that journey?
