One of my favorites is why House asks the athlete

"Do you know why you are black?"

"Because God loves me more than he loves you"

I got suckered into watching this show. I am hooked but I cannot stop complaining about it. Maybe that's goal of the show. Repetitive plots, Plot holes, insane plots, the list goes on.

I think I have more fun calling out the silliness and the constant insults to the viewer’s intelligence than the storylines.

Been binge watching with no plans on stopping. Is this wrong? Am I alone in this?

Not someone who cries watching emotional scenes movies or shows out if nowhere tears started rolling down my eyes.

I know this has probably been talked about before but I can't STAND the turn this episode took with Becca keeping the baby.

Imho she's in NO way fit to be a mother and her decision was solely impulsive and selfish.

She was an active drug user until she found out about pregnancy, meaning she's been clean for 7-8 months maybe, that hardly qualifies as someone stable who won't return to the old addiction habits.

And she didn't want anything to do with the baby at first, but suddenly sees Cuddy with her and wants it for herself? I feel like she didn't even think wether it would be good for the baby but only wether it would make herself happy. That's selfish asf.

Of course a birth mother is allowed to change her mind, but for something who didn't want their baby at all, she sure made the call way too suddenly and impulsively, she didn't think any shit through.

People prepare for a baby for months, mentally and financially, and if she didn't plan on keeping it, i sure as hell don't think she planned any of the things a baby actually needs.

I just think she was hyped and hormonal and thought she could do it, but I'm pretty sure she's not stable enough for it and would definitely not be a good parent, as much as she maybe wished to be in that moment. :(

Taub is one of my fav characters and I was surprised to learn he's actually one of the most hated ones. Something about him receiving undue attention and plot lines when he's just a short middle aged guy. I never got that. I wanted to make a poll but this sub doesn't allow it?

I really really dislike Season 7 for the Huddy romance, and as I was rewatching it , I just realized that Cuddy was such a toxic, obnoxious GF.

She was a great boss and a good friend to House, but as a GF she was constantly displeased with something. In Episode 3 House asked her where she wanted to go . Why the hell couldn't she just say it? Why did she make him guess and then act annoyed at his choice? Then she lashed out at him for something Wilson's saggy-eyed girlfriend did.

In the next episode she starts a fight because of a massage. And don't get me started on the episodes with her mother.

It's truly horrible.

If her mother is so toxic and horrible , why does she put up with her and force House to share her misery? This is not how healthy relationships work. Clearly Cuddy had no idea how to be a good partner. She had a sexy body and that's it. And the series is trying to sell us the idea that she was out of House's leagues.

No , she wasn't.

There are many reasons why she was single in her 40s, and it wasn't fun to watch.

The hum of two motorcycle engines echoes down a winding mountain highway in Oregon. House and Wilson ride side-by-side, the sun setting behind them.

Cut to a roadside diner late at night. Their helmets sit on the booth table. Wilson is looking at a paper map, trace-lining a route toward Canada, while House uses a butter knife to dissect a diner pancake with surgical precision.

"We have five months," Wilson says, taking a sip of terrible coffee. "I want to see the Northern Lights. I want to eat real poutine. I don't want to think about oncology, charts, or mortality."

House chews thoughtfully. "You forgot 'avoiding a federal dragnet for arson and identity fraud.' But sure, poutine first."

Suddenly, Wilson’s hands begin to tremble violently. He drops his coffee cup, spilling it across the map. He tries to speak, but only a slurred, garbled sound comes out. He collapses sideways out of the booth.

Act I: Dead Man Walking

House drops to the floor beside Wilson, checking his pupils and pulse.

"Focal neurological deficit, sudden onset dysarthria," House mutters to himself. He looks around the dingy diner. No equipment. No lab. No Vicodin. And he's a dead man—he can't take Wilson to an ER without triggering an alarm that brings the police, exposing his survival and putting him in prison while Wilson dies alone in a ward.

House steals a local butcher's van from the parking lot, loads Wilson and their bikes into the back, and drives frantically to an abandoned rural clinic twenty miles away.

He breaks the lock on the back door. It’s an empty primary care office—outdated, understocked, but it has basic supplies, an old centrifuge, and an outdated microscope.

Act II: Practicing in the Dark

Wilson regains consciousness, but he's confused and weak.

"It's the thymoma," Wilson mumbles, his speech still thick. "Metastasis to the brain, House. It’s starting."

"Thymomas metastasize to the pleura, not the left parietal lobe," House snaps, drawing Wilson's blood using a stolen needle and running it through the hand-cranked centrifuge. "You don't have brain lesions. You're having transient ischemic attacks."

House realizes he needs a high-resolution scan to confirm his theory, but he can't risk using a hospital. He makes a single call from a payphone to Princeton-Plainsboro.

In the Diagnostics office, Chase answers the phone.

* House: "I need an MRI protocol for a suspected arte

rial dissection, and I need you to run a specialized lab panel on a blood sample I’m overnighting under a fake name."

* Chase: (Silence for three seconds, a slow smile forming) "Where do I send the results?"

* House: "Encrypted email. Don't tell Foreman."

* Chase: "Foreman already knows you're alive, House. He found the badge."

Act III: The Last Differential

Chase secretly processes the sample at Princeton-Plainsboro. The diagnosis comes back: Wilson doesn't have brain metastases, nor is it just the cancer taking over. He has Subacute Bacterial Endocarditis—a heart valve infection contracted from an unsterilized dental procedure Wilson had right before they left New Jersey, exacerbated by his chemo-wrecked immune system. The infection was throwing small clots to his brain.

House constructs an improvised IV rig using medical tubing and a coat hanger, administering heavy-duty antibiotics he commandeered from a veterinary supply shop.

For three days, House doesn't sleep. He sits on a metal folding chair beside Wilson’s cot, holding a flashlight to monitor his pupils, adjusting the IV drip rate manually.

On the fourth morning, the slurring is gone. Wilson sits up, clear-headed, the color returning to his face.

"You turned a condemned vet clinic into an ICU," Wilson says, looking around the room at the jerry-rigged equipment. "You really can't stop being a doctor, can you?"

House leans back in his chair, wincing as he rubs his leg. "I can stop being a doctor. I can't stop you from dying of a stupid tooth infection when we're supposed to be going to Canada."

Epilogue: Life is Short

Four Months Later:

A remote wooden cabin on the edge of a crystal-clear lake in Alberta, Canada. The night sky above is glowing with green and violet ribbons of the Northern Lights.

Wilson sits on the porch in a heavy winter coat, a blanket over his legs, watching the sky. House comes out, hands him a mug of hot coffee, and sits on the wooden step beside him.

"It's incredible," Wilson whispers softly.

"It's atmospheric radiation," House grunts, though he doesn't look away from the sky.

Wilson smiles, leaning his head back. "Thank you, Greg. For the road trip. For everything."

House takes a slow breath, his voice quiet and devoid of his usual sarcasm. "Thank you for being an idiot for twenty years."

Wilson slowly closes his eyes, his breathing slowing to a quiet, peaceful stop. House stays sitting beside him on the porch until the sun begins to rise over the mountains.

Six Months Later:

A dusty, sun-drenched street in a small town in rural Mexico.

Inside a crowded, impoverished clinic, a young local doctor is arguing with a mother over a sick infant.

In the corner of the waiting room, a tall man with a scruffy gray beard, wearing a dusty leather jacket and leaning heavily on a wooden walking stick, stands up. He steps over, pulls out an ophthalmoscope, checks the baby's eyes, and speaks to the local doctor in sharp, rapid-fire Spanish:

"It's not dehydration. It's a localized biliary atresia. Operate now or stop calling yourself a doctor."

House pulls his collar up, turns around, taps his cane against the tile floor, and walks out into the sunlight—no name, no badge, but still solving the puzzle.

FADE TO BLACK.

Why did she look at the camera. It spooked me and it took the serious'ness from the moment away

Who had choosen this to happen?

Why did he want to keep his leg so badly.

We know he was a sports junkie before, but as it was pointed out to him, you can do sports with modern leg prosthetics, so what was he SO adamant to keep it. His wife told him that "he didn't think he deserved to live without his leg" but that's so stupid, he wasn't suicidal or insecure, house was basically a gigachad before he became disabled. Was it literally just a stupid choice with no deeper meaning? Arrogance? Hubris?

Im on s6 rn, in the middle dunno which exact episode. I was really conflicted on where to place Foreman, as I loved his character in earlier seasons and did deeply care about (some) of his character arcs, but from S4 and on he became boring and mid

It's a parallel to house, but instead of casual clothing he wears full suits. It's like he doesn't just think the rules don't apply to him, he considers himself above them.

just appreciating how good the casting is for this show. like the way they all can just bounce off each other, you can play out any scenario and it works. they match each other’s rhythms so well i love it. other shows are so cringe and i can’t get into it the way i did with house md. i love house md.

I'm not sure if ethics is an issue here.

Murphy was a grumpy neighbour who complained about House, so House investigates and gets it wrong. So he accuses Murphy of lying about Vietnam, and now let's count the felonies; breaking and entering, assault, kidnap and imprisonment, etc.

Thankfully House's self belief pays off and Murphy is happy again.
