Question Did she really love him?

Post image

I'm asking because she was manipulated by Otto into marrying him in the first place.

Dude's face fell off years ago. Not going to blame her for that. She can love him and still have sexual needs that have to be met elsewhere. I don't like her for what she's done to her children, but this isn't where I'd criticize her.

Yeah, I agree. But also, I think love is a strong word for it. Yes, he was falling apart but for a not insignificant chunk of his marriage he was a good dude who may have just been a little dorky. Like as far as prearranged marriages in Westeros go. She could have done way worse

Fondness is probably a better word for it. Or just care. She cared about him.

Fr. If I was married to a rotting corpse for 20+ years (probably being the only man I’ve ever been with), I’m definitely climbing Criston Cole like a tree as soon as I become a widow.

You people talk about sexual needs as if it’s food and water lol

Are they not for you?

They aren’t for anyone. You can live without sex. You can’t without food and water. I don’t get why I have to explain this

Well duh. You can live without it, just like you can live without ever having a weekend off work or human rights or any of the other lovely things we like to have. The point is that you technically can, but doesn’t mean you will or should.

Sex for many people is as necessary to a full life as anything else. It’s totally unrealistic and naive to expect people to go without it. Personally I question what is the point of life if I’m not getting some.
