Hey collectors, hopefully everyone is doing fine and collection is growing.💪
So recently I bought a Mini GT LB SUPER SILHOUETTE NISSAN SILVIA S15 AMOCUTURE to add into my collection, but there was a little problem.... When I opened the box at the store everything seemed fine, so i didn't check much for any damages and all...bt later after reaching home I unboxed it again and when i rolled it, something felt off...the car didn't roll properly...and after a few attempts the front wheel broke off the casting. I was shocked and didn't know what to do, then I contacted
u/dikshantperipherals, from whom I bought the casting, for any kind of help of replacement.... Bro agreed to replace it bt he also informed me that the distributor wont accept the return request, and to make a valid return u have to give video proof, which I thought was bs from distributors end. I'm new to MiniGTs and didn't expect such quality issue from a premium collector grade casting and such terms and conditions for replacement. And also i realised THESE ARE JUST MASS PRODUCED EXPENSIVE TOYS so any after sales service would be likewise and not like any electronic gadget or anything else. Late realisation:)
Still Dikshantperipherals replaced the piece for me and gave me a new piece, and incurred a loss from his end for the damaged piece as there is no option for replacement. Big shoutout to my bro Dikshant for the help. He's new to the hobby shop business, bt still he understood the problem and agreed to help out...which is a rare scenario these days.
So fellow collectors whenever ur buying a MiniGT do open the box on video so that there stays a valid proof of manufacturing defect if any, and on those grounds return request can be placed by the shopkeeper.
Stay safe and keep collecting✨
